Waqar's fast in swinging Yorker to Latham was really unplayable amongst the all. He was the master of reverse swing and the Yorker length.

When you want to deliver those toe-crushing Yorkers, pick Waqar any day. But if you want to see art, if you want to witness magic, if you want to see the ball dance to the crowd's chants, if you want to see batsmen trying to follow the ball with their bat creating a meter-long gap between bat and pad, if you want to see star batsmen completely losing it, falling for the trap each and every time, it's Asif. Man, that guy was truly gifted. There are many bowlers who can turn the ball, but currently, there is no one who can make magic happen on the pitch.

Yes Waqar is an absolute legend and a treat to watch. But with much less pace but control, craftsmanship with the sim, the man who surprised the batsmen most was undoubtedly one and only, Mr. Asif. A cricketing jem not only Pakistan but cricket itself lost.

Cricketing history has never seen anyone like Waqr, he was the fastest bowler but unfortunately there wasn't good HD technology and better speed guns to capture 160+ kmph deliveries.
After his injury the pace reduced but the lethality remained the same ❤️❤️❤️👍

I wish Mohammed Asif was never involved in match fixing scandal. It was such a treat to watch him. He was no less than a magician. Had he not been caught in scandal, he would have already become the highest wicket taker n no1 bowler. Greed is a dangerous thing.
you are right, if that scandal does not happens , i am sure that Muhammad Asif could be the best bowler ever in cricket history and could attain the place of most wicket taker in history. I think apart from scandal, PCB failed to protect his best bowler as well.
