- In this episode we travel on from the vineyard in Nashik and hit the Great Indian Trail on the Western Ghats, also known as the GRIT. This is the first half of the day on our rough to Malshej Ghat. We encountered some lovely people in the small village we stopped off at and continued to explore some amazing roads of Maharashtra. There's a few trails and Offroad elements too which kept us on our toes.
The GRIT (Great Indian Trail) formed the backbone of our route and it was a very useful resource. It guides you through the backroads of each state in India and along some cool trails. It was ideal for what we wanted for our Indian Motorbike trip as it allowed for us to stop off in the small Indian Villages and interact with the locals whilst avoiding the crazy highways of India/Maharashtra.
Details of the GRIT with downloadable GPX files can be found here; www.greatindiantrail.com
Most tourists don't visit places like these, kudos on the travel plan!
Thank you, it was nice to see real parts of India and the interactions with locals was the highlight. We mostly followed the GRIT route which has got huge potential to show tourists parts of India that they wouldn’t normally see. Hope to be back again soon 🙏🏽
You guys are truly adventures .....thusis real adventure also india is huge visit to the villages in north india , ladakh , kashmir , himachal , northeast , haryana , punjab and west uttarpradesh ......specially villages of rajasthan. ... .
Thank you for watching 🙏🏽 we’ll do the north next time ✌🏽
Woww❤
Lots of construction on buildings and roads haooening right now in India. Thats why you have met some bad roads but government doing well from 2014
There were a lot of good roads too. Some better than most of Europe. Just a lot of construction Going on the highways out of mumbai. I’m ok with the gravel roads and tracks as that’s what we were specifically looking for so the footage might be skewed. We have dirt roads and mud tracks 5 miles outside of London in the UK too. It’s good for motorcycles 🤓🙌🏽🙏🏽
Bro, how come you read Marathi? Have you learnt Marathi language?
Only a few essential phrases unfortunately not full Marathi. Thank you for watching 🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@@SRMotomoto Thats really good bro given you are a foreigner. That's why I stumble upon the video. Being from Nashik, unfortuntely, I haven't been to these places.
Thank you, we were really welcomed in by the locals. A lovely experience 🙏🏽
