    We greatly appreciate the installation video and honest review of our Pellet Pro 1190 Grill Ricer! I am currently working on the instruction manual to make the assembly portion more clear and taking into consideration everything else you explained. Looking forward to the future videos on cooking with it! Thanks again Ricer! -Dan S

      Hey Dan that sounds awesome on the assembly manual!! Just a few close up pictures will help tons!! I am really excited to get cooking on this also! I did run the burn off and I am very impressed with the way it ran!! That video should be out in less than 2 week!! Talk to you soon!!

    Thank you for doing this video. I was able to put my new Pellet Pro together without reading any instructions. I watched your video again and then headed for the garage while it was fresh in my mind. I absolutely would've have made the same mistake with the legs so thank you for including that vital bit of information instead of cutting your error out like a lot of other people would have.

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ

      Heck ya and I figure if I make a mistake the chances are someone else will do it also so try to help them before they have to redo it too!! hahaha I am glad I was able to help and enjoy that cooker, I love my 1190 and use it all the time!! Have a great weekend!!

    Ok buddy forgive my ignorance lol but what is algorithms and pdi controls?

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      All good bro. The best way to explain the 2 is analog vs digital. Analog has a programmed algorithm and a PID (Proportional - Integral - Derivative ) read the temp every 2 seconds and adjusts accordingly to what it reads. Another good example is a flip phone compared to a smart phone. Hope this helps and have a great week bro!!

  • @andrewpope204

    The stick burner fire pot shield is interesting. Do you think that would effect the reading of the internal temperature probe?

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Andrew. Yep it will cause the chamber to be a little hotter but Smoke Daddy told me that you should only run the cooker up to 250° or so and then the wood will just smoke and not catch on fire as much. Nor the Heavy D will fit in most pellet grills so it is a pretty cool idea and the first cook I do I will use it and see how it preforms!! Thanks for watching!!

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hahaha I thought the same but that is how it is shown in the assembly instructions and now i see why it has a lip on it because the other way everything would fall off it. That is why it has the cut out groves so the water would run out. I wish it was a tad longer for sure! They are sending me the front shelf so that will be a great accessory to have for sure!!
