Akansha's role is this movie though. She fell in love, opened her heart to Akash, literally told him that she doesn't forgive liars and yet he proceeds to let her feelings grow. Even though he apologised, told her everything and made amendments later, phir bhi.
No doubt the connection Akash and Shruti shared was true love, but Akansha's love was completely unconditional.
Not only does she forgive him, befriends him again, invites him to her company, but also finds and helps him reunite with Shruti, despite loving him.
