@@DigitalDevil94 yes my man! You gotta get him to react to something like Slipshod or The Paddington Frisk (just for the videos alone). But Frisk is probably going to be way to short for a reaction.
Fully agree, nice to hear Enter Shikari getting a reaction, there are alot of bands from back when I was younger myself what people don't react to, the likes of fightstar, still remains, Aiden, could name a few other bands aswell, probably got a whole list for Dgibby to react to and he would be getting his banger shades on for a whole lot of them
Yesssss. Every chapter of their career is just so incredible. My favorite thing about the band is that their newer material is vastly different from TTTS or Common Dreads, but they still play all of the old fan favorites live. So many bands don't or can't do that.
2:43 a "Riff" is the correct term. Riff just means repeated guitar pattern more or less. Usually more rhythm-based (hence R-iff) but can contain single notes & lead guitar techniques etc not just exclusively chords. If someone were to say "do you know the main riff from sorry you're not a winner" They would 100% be referring to that "Boom-Boom 1-2-3" riff that leads into the 3 claps. "The Last Garrison" & "Torn Apart" are 2 great other tracks by Shikari. :D
Gib always glad to see more Enter Shikari! I'd be cool if you reacted to a song from each album cycle since the variety of sound is so expansive in their catalogue. You'd be surprised to learn they hold the world record for most crowd surfers during a single song that's how hard the live stuff goes.
You'll never be disappointed in a shikari song. Do mothership, system/meltdown, last garrison , take my country back. I mean you cant go wrong with anything they do.
Honestly, no one ever reacts or seems to know about Enter Shikari. I've been listening to their music since 2006 (when I was only 12!) and have been a fan since; they are criminally underrated. They mix-up every genre that can think of so their musical style is quite difficult to pin-point! Hope you listen to more, they've been my favourite band for 14 years now.
Yeah they are still pretty big in the UK!! And every time they put out an album they generally get pretty heavy radio play. Theyve toured 4 times this year following their most recent album - uk&eu stadium tour, the festival circuit, a US one and a small venue UK one theyve just started. Ive seen them a few times and theyre still incredible live
I met the dude that got ES to do this video in his house on runescape of all games, (Yes I still play, hence my picture). Enter Shikari were schedule at a little venue in the UK, and the venue cancelled on them, I guess they weren't as big at this time, so it wasn't like a big venue or anything, but they posted on Myspace asking their followers if they knew any spots they could play, and the only realistic, reasonable place was the house of the friend I met. He was supposed to go to the show, and his parents felt bad that they were upset and couldn't make it, so they let him have this at their house LOL. I guess they all went outside smoked weed out of a gallon plastic bottle, and as soon as they were done they went inside and filmed this.. Crazy stuff, I still talk to the dude a little to this day. He has a bunch of pics of them all there, and you can tell it's legit cause they are all wearing the same shit, and you can literally see the recording setup, and the instrument setup that is clearly comparable to what was in the video.
@@jleif7736 dang dude that's really cool that's definitely one night to never forget. If I had the choice between seeing them at a huge venue back stage or a small house party I'd take the house any day you're really lucky you got to be there for that.
My favorite Enter Shikari song! Started listening to them in 2007 when my friend showed me the song at a random parking lot in Florida @1am 😅 my other friend actually went to their gigs back when they started.
Also, you're probably the only person I know that has seen this video... and not talked about the guy in the green shirt that looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo in the video... that takes balls. I respect that.
You're the best bro, this song brings me back to 2012 freshman year with my first love. Getting my first guitar, seeing my first show, discovering expiremental and hard music. Good memories bro. So much nostalgia
Nice video man. Love seeing people vibing to Shikari for the first time. The claps get 'em every time. Try out Anaesthetist next. More up to date but slaps hard!
loving the reaction! so entertaining and energetic, makes me smile a lot :D going to dive into your videos now! as for shikari, their song Gandhi Mate, Gandhi has a lot to react to if you want something all over the place and mental and fun. But yeah, looking forward to more reactions in general and you may even have a patron!
Theyre known for playing in the crowd, like in the pit, I've had Rou have his arm around me and the crowd singing and getting all emotional together. Amazing band. The best atmosphere live in small show settings
Came here from an Enter Shikari fan group on Facebook. You have amazing reactions dude, you're awesome 🤘 You got a new subscriber and I'll suggest Labyrinth by Enter Shikari for you
WAIT you're getting into Enter Shikari?! Oh man PLEASE do more reactions to them! I don't even care what songs, I see people have been making suggestions already. I'd just be happy to see more of their content reacted to!
If you love this definitely checkout Enter Shikari - Mothership. No one ever reacts to these but live they are just as good. And a live performance from them is amazing. The energy they have live is up there with a Slipknot show. They don't have the crowd control like Corey and Slipknot, they involve the crowd but are more about smashing it and putting on a good show without being try hards. Just want to add Slipknot (my favourite band) aren't try hards but they know they have the die hard fans that buzz on their every word where as Enter Shikari buzz and play from the atmosphere the crowd. Gibby gang for the win 🤘. Be safe and keep up the good work man!
I saw them more than 40 times live, they never disappoint! My favorite bangers are Mothership, Slipshod, Hoodwinker, OK time for plan B, System... ...Meltdown & T.I.N.A :D
Really loving that your enjoying enter shikari I'd like to recommend Mothership Juggernaut Ghandi mate ghandi And Torn apart Its so hard picking a few I love every single along they have made I'd love to see what you think more shikari, I've subscribed and hit the notification button so i can see the next one Great reaction man can't wait for the next one 😁
I saw them live with For Today, The Devil Wears Prada, and Whitechapel. Sadly I didn't pay then much attention because I'd never heard of them. Wish I did. I do remember that the vocalist was completely nuts, throwing his mic at the crowd and jumping off stage
My personal favourite Enter Shikari song. I love them and their unique fusion of electro dance and heavy metal, similar to Pendulum or Zardonic (Please react to Zardonic!). I recommend other Enter Shikari songs I love such as "Quelle Surprise", "Juggernauts", "You're Not Getting Any Sleep" and "Arguing With Thermometres". Thanks and keep up the awesome work!
I've seen Enter Shikari twice at Warped Tour. Let me just say, listening to them not live... doesn't do them ANY justice. The synthesizers punch you in the chest with the base, and the entire place goes fucking NUTS.
Mothership, Juggernauts, Arguing With Thermometers, The Last Garrison, The Dreamers Hotel.....a song from each of their albums in chronological order, if you ever wish to delve that deep.
Got to love enter Shikari!! Seen them at least a dozen times. They never disappoint. If you loved that. You should listen to "Mothership" or "Rabble Rouser" Great video and reaction!
Gotta do a double feature one say of destabilize by enter shikari immediately followed by destabilize by Johnny and the snipers. Same song, same guys, completely different result. Its very impressive
Finally. Nobody ever reacts to ES. Here's hoping he dives in to their vast catalog. Thanks Gibby. ✌
@@DigitalDevil94 yes my man! You gotta get him to react to something like Slipshod or The Paddington Frisk (just for the videos alone). But Frisk is probably going to be way to short for a reaction.

respect for the SKSK avatar. Was fortunate enough to see the reunion tour in January. One of the greatest albums ever
Yesssss. Every chapter of their career is just so incredible. My favorite thing about the band is that their newer material is vastly different from TTTS or Common Dreads, but they still play all of the old fan favorites live. So many bands don't or can't do that.
My favourite enter shikari song. This song is awesome live. I hope you like this song Gibby
this has arguably been my favourite song for a good 15 years, and i still have NO IDEA what the words are
Alexisonfire - This Could Be Anywhere in the World
Fire
YES!!!!!!!!!
That would be fantastic
Live! He'd get some goosebumps
one of my favorite songs!
Brilliant song all these years later.
Enter Shikari is so underrated. I'll never forget them live at Roskilde back in '08, man what a great concert that was
I agree. I went to see them at a warped tour in 2014. My friend actually went to their little gigs back when they started. Somewhere in UK
I think the reason is that they experimented too much with different styles and became too soft. They should go back to their trance-metalcore roots.
Slapping that like button before the premiere. More Shikari please! All of their songs have a unique style and feel to them.

Yes!!!! This was the shit wayyyy back
Got to check out their song Anaesthetist but before that while she sleeps anti-social 🤘

Respect for this video.

Dude, you need to do more Shikari. They are sooooooo good and underrated.
6:56 what song is this in the background? Sounds awesome lol
Love that they did the music video at a house party those are always the best kind of parties especially for punk rock music.

Hands down my favorite band, Rou is a musical genius. Pumping out class music year after year. Great reaction, keep reacting to their music.
So happy you had another look at Shikari, One of my favorite bands.
Highly recommend Solidarity - Live in London by Enter Shikari
I got stop at the store for some popcorn for this
Anything can happen in the next half hour NEEDS a reaction. Such a great song
I have loved ES since I was like 13. 27 now. My favourite part of this is just that he has absolutely no idea what to think of it😂
My favorite Enter Shikari song! Started listening to them in 2007 when my friend showed me the song at a random parking lot in Florida @1am 😅 my other friend actually went to their gigs back when they started.
You guys got Gibby up in hear listening to some old screamo, love it, you guys did it.
Man you gettin all the vibes homie! They puttin you on the jams!
I've been subscribed to you for years, how did I miss this one!? Love this track and your reaction :)
"either my breath is really hot or it's a real vibe"
This song is genre defining, and i remember going to house parties as a freshman in highschool like this. God i miss it!
Also, you're probably the only person I know that has seen this video... and not talked about the guy in the green shirt that looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo in the video... that takes balls. I respect that.
You will like the song by Chiodos - There's no penguins in Alaska. 100%

Miss the early 2000s.
Was my teenage years, and was the best.

This song is the jam
this is a reaction i never thought id see but im excited to see him do more ES
Mannn I remember hearing this track for the first time. Shikar's first album changed everything for me, and I've loved them ever since. 👏👏👏
To this day, I still think this is their best song
Each album is a complex blend of genres. The Spark being among the most mature. No one one YT react to these Kings, and they are just above top tier
Everything Enter Shikari does is gold
This threw me all three way back!! Love your reactions and infectious positivity ❤
🤘🏾 big love brother 🤘🏾 such an epic song. Pioneering the way to prog metal vibes 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thank you DGIBS! This made my day! Really brings back some memories for me.

A couple of hours ago I heard to this song for 'good old times' - reasons and thought ''d-gibby would like this one''...
And here it is!
Awesome.

This man loves a drop!! When it kicks in :P
Are you talking about the “bridge”? It’s what connect the lines to the chorus.
Awesome man so glad you reacted to this. So many more bangers similar and different than this
this is brilliant this was my song back in the day love it still
“Mothership” is their best song. You won’t change my mind 👅
Yes to this
100% approved.
The whole of take to the skies is amazing, I think ok time for plan b is probably my favourite
This made my day hopefully you get some more shikari on the channel, so hard to pick what song though, maybe quelle surprise
He needs to do a reaction to Arguing with thermometers 🤣 that video is life
Awesome reaction 🤩

One of my favorite bands
“I really don’t know what I’m talking about half the time.” I feel you bro.
The spacey sci-fi sound is made from synthesizer instruments btw lol
React to anything can happen in the next half hour by them you’ll like it more I’m glad you finally reacting to them bro
Wolves at the Gate - Drifter
Wolves at the Gate - Dead Man
Wolves at the Gate - Relief
Just some bangers I thought you'd enjoy from my fav band.
This song reminds me of Mr Bungle and Faith No More such a shame Enter Shikari didn’t keep going with this sound
Got to love enter Shikari!! Seen them at least a dozen times. They never disappoint.
If you loved that. You should listen to "Mothership" or "Rabble Rouser"
