This is a random suggestion, but maybe you could consider using the circular keychain rings exclusively for the display rack? I mean the ones that are a metal loop that you have to pry open and thread through in order to attach them. It will be a bit more of a hassle to add or remove charms, but it takes a lot of effort to try to steal it like that, plus gives you more time to notice!

Hope you saw this before you left. Naka-Kon 2020 Delayed March 12, 2020 We don’t know how to start this, but we promised to update you guys as soon as we had more concrete information. After much consideration and a mutual understanding between Naka-Kon, the Overland Park Convention Center, and the City of Overland Park, we have decided to postpone Naka-Kon due to concerns about the COVID-19 situation.
Watching this again haha. As for the stealing, I'd invest in some twist ties (instead of zipties) to secure them, or move the display further back on the Con table?
just a suggestion but how about having a picture book for people to look at and keep the product under the table if you don't want to zip tie everything. im doing a small event in my town next month and will have pictures of products. just a thought
out of curiosity, how many pieces do you usually put out for sale of keychains at a time? 10 or so of each character? I plan to do stuff on Etsy soon and I need advice ;w; Your art is so cute!
Ugh, I can relate to being burnt out on art and just surviving until Spring starts. Happens to me every year now. I have a few commissions that I am making such slow progress on and it's so stressful on top of the virus stuff. D:

Why not used zip cords to secure your charms? I have seen people do that at conventions, sucks when they steal from people 😩

We don’t know how to start this, but we promised to update you guys as soon as we had more concrete information.

Sorry to hear that. I also have cons that cancelled. This is how I make my living. Looks like I have to look at another source of income. 😔
