Thank you for posting your wonderful collection of videos from The Pie and Vinyl show. It wasn't until early this year that I discovered Johnny Flynn as an actor and musician. I have thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in his work.
@@calvb8349 I was pleasantly surprised to find a response from you, given that The Pie and Vinyl videos were posted 8 years ago. I hope to see Johnny perform live one day, if not in the States, then perhaps I hear London Calling...
Josh Wilkainho Hi Josh, sorry for the late reply, just seen this....i didn't even know he was playing the Wedgewood Rooms that night, i suddenly saw on Facebook that he was playing there, which i knew i couldn't go to due to other commitments, however he said he was playing a free small gig of just half a dozen songs in the Pie & Vinyl Record Cafe down the road. I'd never seen Johnny live before so jumped on a train and luckily got front seat on the cafe floor. Such a nice guy, afterwards he signed my banjo and spent a few minutes telling me about his fingerpicking style which has eluded me for years. Very humble, stupidly talented.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful performance!

You're most welcome Sophie 🙂...I love his work, was a pleasure to meet too, such a nice lad.
