This is just a sign of greatness. These defenders didnt tackle for the ball, they went for his legs to get him injured. Ronaldo went through this almost every day in England, also by his own teammates in training. Remember this was PL at its peak. The only other player i can remember being tackled so recklessly is Maradona. Imagine that this guy is still playing in the PL after 20 years at the top. Its INSANE. Its an anomaly.
