Roald Dahl wrote a couple books. One called Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and the other is the sequel Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator.
This movie is its own movie and not a prequel to the other movies. 4:40 there’s a theory out there that the one he dropped is the one that Charlie finds to buy the chocolate. 5:40 Chalamet said that he studied both Gene Wilder & Johnny Depp’s Wonka roles and combined the two to make his character. 27:30 it’s funny every reactor I’ve watched react to this movie has asked that same question.

@@NeedumReacts we’d first need to get a movie for Charlie & The Chocolate Factory which was what Gene Wilder & Johnny Depp’s movies were about. We never got a sequel for the Gene Wilder one cause the author hated the movie so he refused to give permission for the sequel. So for Timothee Chalamet it would be a trilogy. yea i almost cried when he opened his moms chocolate. that was such a cool thing that they did. I'm actually so surprised at how good it was.

I’m so mad I didn’t see it in theatres now that I finally watched it. I did see Mario tho and it was wonderful as well

@@NeedumReacts didn’t know about the Zelda movie actually. But I wasn’t much of a Mario fan growing up I don’t play the games a ton. But I still enjoy the movie. Loved the way they designed the training scene and stuff like when they were running through the city. Felt surreal as a movie. Eventhough I don’t really know the lore I can appreciate the effort, so I’ll check out Zelda as well. Not verse on its lore either
@@S0L12D3 I think the Zelda movie might be a live action but everyone’s hoping for it to be animated which I agree with. You should for sure check out the games!

I’ve actually seen that movie in Spanish class in highschool hahaha. I don’t remember it that well so I could watch it again. I’ve also seen the Selena show on Netflix so good
