I have carved a few spoons last year. This year I’m more into caricature carving. While your video made me want to make a spoon with such design.

How can I get a spoon blank used in the video? I’m not sure I can do such spoon without a wavy blank itself.

There is an international body of spoon carvers and it is growing all the time. Spoon carvers are getting sick of cheap shit slammed out on machines manned by underpaid workers in China. Spoon carvers understand the zen of what they are doing; that they are travelling FAR back to their roots when, if you wanted something, you made it yourself. Spoons are one of the oldest known forms of domestic artefacts.
