The guy who you said was not impressed is actually their "coach" or "trainer" throughout the show, I'm not sure how this show works, but they're part of his team or singers in this show (like, first round is qualification, which she passed perfectly, as I remember she sang a cover of "Zombie" by Cranberries). I believe he's just trying to track how well did she follow the technical vocal part of the song. He's own vocal style is actually similar, although he's not a rock singer himself

I've known this band since 2007. I even consider their former tourmanager (an american) a friend of mine. had the privilage to get to know, hang out and meet them in person. Once in the Hague (the Netherlands) and once in Moscow. Still love them, even thow their style has changed a bit over the years. My first encounter with them was "2 Voiny" (2 wars). Still one of my favorites.
The only question I have is what did you mean by odd time signatures? This song is 4/4 through its whole duration. Other than that, cool reaction. Multiple people have pointed out that it's an original song (also, the guitar player with that mustache is also from Слот). Fun fact is that Darya was actually worried she would win the whole competition, because she didn't want to sign any contracts with the showrunners afterwards, so Grigory Leps (her mentor, the seemingly unimpressed guy wearing shades) kicked her out later to help her avoid unneeded responsibilities.

She is Vocalyst of the year in 2019, and her Solo album - is the "Album of year" of 2020 in single (here is only one federal rock-stations in Russia) rock-radio station in Russia. And about this song: She wrote the words and music. And it's hard to translete the meaning of the song, but it's very deep and it makes you think about the eternal.
This song is a Slot song, so from this point of view it is original, not some cover. Since Slot is a pretty much prog band they often use odd meters. You could hear some on "Terroreast" music video which you've been reacting before.
Daria was actually stabbed in her neck at the fan meet up a couple of years ago. This performance is her come back to the stage. You can see her band's members cheering her up in the audience.
