Soon Duoung will be blessed with so many chickens that the new chicken coop will also be too small! He might need to take some of the roosters to market this season.
It would be much easier for you to water your plants if you make another reservoir in the garden area. The old reservoir will supply with water using bamboo pipes you can use hoses to water your plants.
Looks like it's time to thin out the roosters. Maybe you could trade them for a different rooster to improve the flock and cut down on inbreeding. Great video and awesome examples of homesteading. Really love the work ethic!!!
Your buck saw is very dull. Can you have someone teach you the tools you need to sharpen and set the teeth? Seeing you sharpen the saw would be an interesting video because we do not see them used because they have been replaced by new design. Your chicken flock is growing beautifully. I think you need more nesting baskets and roosts in your new coop. It is very nice. Do you need a short fence along the lake so the chicks do not fall into the water? I imagine if they fell in they would die. Just a suggestion 😊 Your garden is beautiful. I am hoping you will start to compost organic waste so you can start to build your soil. The mulching around your banana trees is wonderful. Also consider growing crops like radish, yams and peanuts to improve your soil. Will you grow corn to feed your chickens? WIll you plant upland rice again with new seed?
you should really close all gaps and holes on that coop, cut the chicken wings shorter so they wont be able to fly so high, and you should really get a guardian dog, i bet people would love it... its just a suggestion, love everything you do Sir :D
That is a great chicken coop! U are an amazing builder and u like the way u film it videos too! How many roosters do u have it seems like u have too many roosters?🤔🤔
A suggestion-paint roosts especially with linseed oil to prevent mites hiding and infesting your chickens. Nice chook shed, well done. Greetings from Aus
amazing stuff duong, nice to know your name my friend. thank you for sharing your life with the audience that we all may be inspired and humbled by your work. are there any medical plants or herbs around? if so can you show them? do you eat the chicken? if so, can you show a recipe?... blessings, guidance and protection.
Well I couldn’t stand watching you have all the fun. It got to 70 here after a cold week before and I notice hyacinth sprouting. I had dug up the bulbs that were planted to deep. I brought them inside and they were all sprouting . I got my spade and shovel and went to play in the dirt. I got them all replanted and didn’t think a thing of it then I couldn’t move for two days lol. I’ll be 70 this year. Love the new chicken house. Thank you for your sharing of your life.❤
Sorry I couldn’t help hearing you lost the babies to preditors. I keep new chicks and mommas in enclosed pens until the chicks are feathered. That might help.
I wonder if you can make a chicken run with the bamboo fencing that used for the garden. Three walls and a roof should keep them contained and you could have a little door that can swing in. It would keep them safe from predators and keep your garden safe from them.
That is beautiful stuff my friend! I ve really enjoyed that video. I am wondering whether or not you are going to use chicken poop for the fertilizer in your farm?
Tip for your garden, get shells and crush them into a powder or as fine as possible and mix dust the soil. Use egg shells/ snail shells/ crab shells/ sea shells/ river shells. Crush them between two rocks or a stone pestle and mortar.
Kedves Duong ! Már megszokhattam.volna hogy precíz munkát végzel , de ez a tyúkól kész palota ! 👍👍👍👍 Remélem sok - sok egészséges lakója lesz a jövőben ! A szeretett családodnak is örömteli és boldog Új esztendőt kívánok : Mimi mami Magyarországról 🇭🇺
There are so many chickens now! They're so cute! You're blessed with your hard-working spirit. May you get even more blessings of never-ending happiness.
The manure from the chicken is really good for your garden soil when you have enough you should make a compost pile useing the same X pattern knitting you used for the top of you bamboo fence
this is better than anything i could watch on tv and helps me think outside the box incase i ever end up in a situtation like this. its like good education.
What a wonderful and exciting life you have made and a very hard life I hope it will not be too long before your family visits again Best Wishes from Australia
It's nice to see the chickens are getting more and more, but you have to be careful with the chicks, you should make a fence on the edge of the fish pond near the chicken coop, so they don't fall over, it's a shame if they get splashed and can't be helped because you're busy with other work. I always can't wait for your next interesting video 😊
Hello Sugar, congratulations on your new chicken coop, the chickens appreciate it, the garden is also very beautiful, keep it up and take care, greetings from New York
Great job on the new coop! Lots of room and plenty of perches. You might want to add a water source. You can keep the old coop for housing hens with new babies, to keep them safer from the other chickens. You have so many chickens! It's probably time to eat or sell some of the roosters. And you'll need to plant more corn, too.
It is so awesome to see your garden flourish and your doing great with you chicken and your fish. You do great in everything you do. So that your Family is coming around. God Bless and stay healthy.
You truly treat your chickens like princes and princesses: they now got their own family compound! :) Appreciate you sharing your skills with viewers, thank you! I'm learning a lot of things that could be useful at our homestead.
Greetings Duong. Your farm and plantation is expanding very well! Great work Congratulations Friend! Your wife and daughters will love it there. You work very hard to achieve success on the farm. It's absolutely Beautiful so pristine and quiet. You are very clean and tidy. You take very good care of chickens and fish and breeding fish! Do you have pigs yet? You are Amazing Man. Thank You For Sharing Another Great Video. I love your Primitive skills . Everything that you do is exceptional from forging, building, engineering ... 🙏Many Blessings and Prosperity Happiness for You and Family. ❤Much Love From The 🇺🇲🙂 A chicken Palace love it
duong.. some day.. you have to make a beautiful handle for your hammer.. axe.. and blade.. that tool is your friend that asisting you from your stone axe till this vilage exist.. 🙏😁😁 you made realy great tool
Love the new coop! 🥰 It didn't take long to raise quite a large brood of chickens. I'm sure the small coop's mood was "fowl & broody"! 😆 People following you should keep in mind that you're raising chickens not only for eggs but meat too & those Roo's days are numbered! 🐓 Good job on keeping self-sustained!!! ☺
Well done Duong. Please don't show the end result at the beginning of the video as it ruins the experience of watching your projects grow. You could easily use rope as a drive belt with the water wheel for powering a few things such as the potter's wheel, a lathe or a cement mixer. It only requires a groove chiseled into each wheel. Keep up the great work.
Very good video Duong, thank-you for sharing. I was very impressed how strong the new chicken house is and also your garden is looking better every week. I hope you, your wife and daughters are all well.🙂
I love the new chicken coop! You're so sweet with them there very lucky to have a owner like you. I so enjoy watching your videos. I love everything you have done to your place. Keep up the great work. 🙂❤
Many types of radishes have edible leaves. These can be preserved by drying them in a shady place and storing them in a lidded jar. Then just add the crumbled leaves to soups, stews, and other moist foods for flavoring. If you keep them in a cool, dark place, they should still have some good vitamins in them, including Vitamin C, which is destroyed by heat, and sometimes by too much sunlight. Without Vitamin C, we develop scurvy, which can be painful, and even lead to death. Our bodies can store Vitamin C up to four weeks, but then we need to eat foods that contain it. This is why it's important to eat fresh vegetables & fruits, bean sprouts, dark leafy greens, and of course citrus fruits. If you add the dried greens at the end of cooking, they will be moistened, but not heated enough to destroy the vitamins remaining in them. Plus, they add a little flavor to food, acting like a mild herb. Carrot greens and beet greens also tend to be edible, and can be preserved for later use in a similar way.
Hello , I am writing to you from a country far from you , Russia , I want to express my admiration for the way you work on the farm , you are a huge fellow , you sometimes amaze me ! we also have a lot of farmers in Russia like you and we also love working on our land very much , so we are similar in this , I wish you prosperity and most importantly health !
It will be interesting to see how your radishes turn out. I have never seen anyone transplant radishes, or turnips either. Are these regular radishes or a daikon variety? I must continue to urge you to create a composting pile for your organic waste. You have a wonderful, plentiful supply of greens (nitrogen, and browns (carbon) from all the wood chips, etc.; plus all of the chicken poop! : ) The compost you can make from these would be great in your garden beds. Do you primarily grow turnips for the fleshy taproot or for the greens?
which is here later, it's time to prepare a glass of coffee to relax watching and enjoying your work my brother... we have been waiting a long time for your latest video... greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩

Hey, let's make a video in 2 or 3 month later about the update of your chickens. Awesome video anyway
Looks like it's time to thin out the roosters. Maybe you could trade them for a different rooster to improve the flock and cut down on inbreeding. Great video and awesome examples of homesteading. Really love the work ethic!!!

So many chickens!
Feed the Chickens! I'm worried about them! )))
Will you eat some of the chickens and make some good food? Or only produce eggs? How many chickens can you have? Great show. Much love.
Yes, appreciate your carpentry skills. They were a gift of love from your father and everyone who taught you.

Why don't you cull some roosters? I know it's 1 rooster services 10-11 hens.
