This is a highlights video of the 20/20 game played between Clitheroe CC and Great Harwood CC in the 20/20 Competition of the J W Lees Lancashire Cricket League played on 24th June, 2022.
The chap recording was very confident at innings break, cricket has a funny habit of biting u on the back side when you least expect it! Such easy chase by Great Harwood well done guys
Great game Keith and Great Harwood batted brilliantly. Clitheroe probably thought they had won after clocking up 10 an over. Clitheroe's bowlers got hammered this time round 198 for 1 is some achievement. Was fun to watch, but the league is more important
Woeful effort from Clitheroe by the looks of it, number 5 had a terrible bowling spell & all summed up by the dropped catch. Had a feeling it might have gone to the wire by your comment half way through. Another tap on the shoulder to not take the opposition lightly, all topped off by another Pro making an appearance for Clitheroe!
Is there a rule in cricket where the non striker can demand a new partner? Perhaps say if no. 22 has had enough of 24's 'dotline' strategy of swing and miss?
The reason I haven't posted a video of that game which, you quite rightly mention was a heavy and important defeat for Clitheroe, was because I wasn't at the game. I had been Covid tested on the Friday and was clear and required to self-isolate prior to a procedure on the Monday at Burnley Hospital. There was no video taken by me; there is no conspiracy. Check it out with anyone who was at the game.
