How do you switch between regular driving and the show mode? Are they separate so you have to turn your taillights off in the car then turn the show mode on in your phone?
Thank you for the good explanation! I still have two question where I couldn't find anything about. 1) I want 3 groups and each has 10 LEDs. So when I turn on the turn signal all leds in the first group fade up from 0-100% and then the next group. Is that possible? It's like a sequence, but in bigger sections. 2) Is it possible, that when I break the brake light is on, but when I also activate the turn signal, the brake light on that side turns off? I have a 68 Mercury Cougar with custom tail lights and the part from 2) is how it works originally. That way I could mimic the incandescent bulb look.
thanks! 1. yes you should be able to do that if you have the end of one strip wired into the front of the other strip, if you decide that you want them to fire at the same time then you can adjust it in the app and have them all fire at the same time. 2. yes! that is actually how the controller is designed to work already, wiring up the controller might be a little weird if your car is using the same bulb / wire to fire the turn and brake. may have to tap into the wiring up in the dash / fuse panel area for that signal.
Thank you for this, i had no idea where the pixel count were at also just learned if you dont ahve a build thats specific for a ghozt you can still use a ghozt as a led controller might not have all the functionality but can still use thw show modes
oh yeah! all of the new pre built headlights with rgb in them can be wired up to a blueghozt module. and you can wire up the factory functions as well but you'll have to tap into the headlight harnesses
@@zaccook ya I'm trying to figure that out right now, ik where and what wires I need for custom turn signals, rn they work but no customizing and the DRLs I have a base accord with touring headlight and the harness needed but no idea what wire is for the drls so dang confusing I just want those awesome start up sequences 🤧
Technically yes. The s550 tail lights still have the oem red leds install so that you have safely drive during the day so the blue turn and brake may be outshined by that but you can set up a show mode that looks like a blue turn signal
@@FordMidableV8 it’ll have a blue hue to it but overall it’ll be red. On other vehicles it’s much more obvious because they have a separate turn signal bulb but with the s550 they do everything right there so the red leds kind of take over But you can do a blue parking light!
how's it going, thank you for the video i have a question though, I just had a shop install my ghozt module and it came with 2 splitters for my underglow of course my underglow is 12V, the shop used the 2 splitters the module came with, does it matter what underglow is connected to which plug on the splitter??
Hey! So it kind of depends on how the ghozt module is wired up. If i wired it up i would have it set up to utilize the left and right side of the ghozt module so that the show mode works with the under glow and i leave turn signal wires out so that you could tap those in for a full car turn signal
the parking light mode really depends on whatever vehicle the lights are installed. like my genesis coupe parking lights stay on for like 1 to 2 seconds after my car shuts off. but my trucks parking light stays on for like 3 to 5 minutes after the truck shuts off.
@@zaccook the actual headlights beams turn off 15 seconds after I turn off the car but the DRL bar stays on for for 10 minutes or so unless I go to the app and manually turn off the parking mode off. I have a 2019 TLX

I need answers for this too😂

That was so fast haha 😂

Thx so much for the video !
My english is bad but if i understand, we can have blue turn signal and blue brake ?

@@zaccook okay but i dont understand why in the app there are a ''brake'' ''turn signal'' mode if you cant use it on driving 😕😅
This just answered my questions about retaining functionality. man you got all the information. real one
Thanks!
Thanks bro! Been trying to figure out how to separate turn signals from DRL’s - great explanation 👍🏽
is there a way to link 2 modules (headlights & underglows) together so you run 1 show mode for both at the same time?
Yep! I’ve linked up to 5 so far (i bet you can link more

Just got some headlights running off blue ghozt and this helped me so much lol thank you!
Which led strips are you using? Also which halos do you recommend using with this?
What is the add to home option
Trying to figure out how to use brake lights as I've hooked them up to the brakes but when I press them nothing happens :(
Can you set a reverse light?
Plug and play ?
You’re the GOAT🙏🏽
My parking mode lights stay on for too long and I don’t see any option for duration to set in how much time I want them to turn off🥺

Hey! I only have one question, how it is the wiring for the turn signals to work?
The turn signal cables goes to “in1” “in2” and so on and so on?
Hey! So the turn signal inputs are actually in3 and in4
I actually have a “how to wire up blueghozt module” video up that i posted up a week or 2 ago
@@zaccook Ohhh okay, that’s the only thing I always had a doubt because I’m new to the addressable world, thanks!!! I will check it out!
Thank you!
Thank you bro 😎 it helped going to do a new video looks a lot better
Can it do a glitter function
Pretty much! This is the module that stop motion uses and he’s done “glitter” style or galaxy style show modes
Very nice man I’m kinda slow in the terminology you were using but very cool
Did you wire in parallel or series
Mines disconnects every 2 seconds
hmmmm, could have a connection issue. or some sort of short somewhere. the module has several safe guards in place to protect it from being fried.
