I absolutely love Randell. Every part of me doesn’t want to, but I do. Also he definitely has a big future in the show, especially since Julie can time travel, I’m interested to see if him or Marielle get powers
Me too! Randall is my favorite character in the show because his actor does such a great job with him, making him complex (in a subtile way) and interesting. Also, who doesn't love a wounded rebel!
My theory is that Randall will turn evil and eventually become Man in Yellow. His scenes with Jim was really similar to Man in Yellow’s speaking tone towards Jim
I like Jim, to be honest. He represents someone who's practical. He doesn’t get those visions that Tabitha have, so he tends to be hesitant, especially after observing some of the townspeople going crazy. I don’t think he’s an asshole, he tried so hard to understand what's hapening to them
I like him too. The hate he gets is really unfair. Everyone gives Jade a pass for being an arrogant jerk, yet Jim, who is trying to protect his loved ones is hated by everyone. His death has been the hardest for me (even more so than Father Khatri's was).

I like the majority of your list except for these. 1. Ethen is a B, his acting isn’t up to par, all he does is ask questions and he can’t be ranked is the same class as Fatima. He dose give certain clues based on his mystery books. 2. Kenny’s dad is a C his character isn’t terrible but he was really only there to progress Kenny’s character going through his grief. 3. Elise is a C not terrible but we really only see him as being Boyd’s son or Fatima’s husband. He doesn’t stand good alone. 4. Jim is a B, in spite of his character being closed minded and annoying because of that, his acting is up to par and his character is made to be the skeptical dad because his wife is the multi time reincarnation character that has multiple revealings we’ve yet to see, they’re a good balance. Plus this isn’t based on if you like a character or not, on account of myself, personally I don’t like Fatima but I still admit that she’s an A. 5. Elgin is an B, he’s not on the level of Fatima and Henry and he’s not as bad as Acosta, he has way more character development and more to give then Boyd’s wife and the man from Episode 1. 6. Randle is a B, you see like you said him as a character that is going to develop more, you can see some growth in what we’ve seen so far of him plus he’s interesting, can’t be on the same level as Boyd’s wife. 7. I’m real surprised you have Victor so low on your S tier
Elgin deserves justice. Sara and Fatima were controlled by the town and murdered residents. He never killed anyone. Boyd protected, Sara and Fatima, but tortured Elgin.
When Fatima stabbed Tillie she was being controlled because Smiley was angry and used Fatima to let out his rage whereas Sara and Elgin were being manipulated.
Because someone was put in harms way and he could potential to save them. Don't really get the Elgin deserves justice takes. He could have had Fatima killed for all Boyd and co knew. ' Sarah would have likely died if the paster did not protect her. Can't really compare the three because Elgin was holding information that put someone life on the line.
To be fair, Elgin kidnapped his daughter in law and refused to tell them where she was. Even with him being manipulated it still doesn’t change the fact that she was in danger and they didn’t have much time to find her. They needed to know where she was now.
The situations where different, Sarah and Fatima didnt have actice hostages who they kidnapped and wouldn't tell anyone their location. I would agree with the same treatment if that was the case

I think Jim as a character is very misunderstood. He was doing his best and like you said, trying to protect his family. He doesn't have the visions that Jade or Tabitha have. That is not his fault. He is basing his decisions on logic. Tabitha has not always been kind or loving with him, when he tries to show her he understands and cares. He has attempted to be positive and look for solutions. People love Jade, yet he has always been an arrogant jerk from the start, yet people forgive him, but Jim unfairly doesn't get a pass. I have watched seasons 1 and 2 three times and season 3 twice and he, along with Boyd, Kenny, Donna and father Khatri, are my favorite characters. Also, Jim is literally the reason why Jade and Tabitha now remember who they are. He gave Jade the answer about the numbers (that they are musical notes). Jim is one of the main characters and tried all season 1 to get them back home with the radio and season 2 he tried to get answers with Randall and season 3 he tried to find his wife and protect his children and ended up apologizing to Jade at the end of season 3. He deserves to be at least an A if not an S tier character. Going as low as you have is a disservice both to the character and the actor. You put so many characters who were far less significant (i.e., Marielle, Ellis, Kenny's dad and Bakta) than Jim so much higher. He always has good intentions.
The only thing I hate is Father being killed waaaaay too soon, seeing him as a type of Boyds imagination made me always realize even after his death how "shock value" doesn't work everywhere, just like with Beth in hospital arc in TWD, I liked her potential and what happend, happend Father Kathri should've been there way longer

The guy who was put in the box at the beginning of season 1 was "Frank" and the man with the doll who reincarnated into Jade, is "Christopher". There is also Victor's sister, "Eloise". Surprised you listed "Trudy", but not "Clara" (the large girl who always wears the bandana) or "Nicky" the girl that got shot by Danny Acosta? There was also the couple that took over Sara's house who ended up both dying and there was "Tobey" the guy who drove in with Jade in episode 1 who Sara ended up killing, as well as Sara's brother "Nathan" who was in quite a few scenes in season 1. There was also "Kevin" from season 1 (the guy who fell for that lady monster and let her in to colony house) and that lady monster also had a significant scene. There is "Kelly" (the girl who had a rod put through her head and stuck into a tree who had quite a lengthy scene in season 2), as well as her boyfriend. There is "Brick" (the guy who got stuck under the fallen house with Tom and Jim in the beginning of season 2) and lastly, the actor that plays young Victor and the Kimono woman from season 3.

@NoctanNights i adore his actor and hope to see him in more shows. The writers did a great job at writing a realistic marriage with Jim being an asshole.. Not an abusive villan asshole, just a normal asshole that would benefit from a few therapy sessions.
To be honest, in my opinion, there are so many roles in this show, and almost each person (or groups of persons) have a separate storyline. That makes most of the episodes seem slow and, sometimes distracting. Nonetheless, it’s still a good show overall. It would have been better if the story can be more focused on the main storyline (fight monsters and unravel mysteries).😊
I’m pretty sure that they’re all part of the ‘main quest’-ultimately all the storylines come together in a way that helps them unravel the greater mystery behind their predicament.
When you rewatch the show you'll notice a lot of hints of what is to come. I always loved Jim. My top 10 list is: 10. Julie 9. Jim 8. Tabitha 7. Ellis 6. Kenny 5. Father Khatri 4. Victor 3. Sara 2. Jade 1. Boyd

Idk about you, but 90% of From fandom Don't like Boyd. He have Many good moments but his characteristics are so frustrating. Hypocritical and stubborn whenever smtb happened no one else have to know but if smth happened with you I always must know first
