I brought out a handful of my current radios and went over some pros and cons. Also dropped a bomb at the end.

Dude! I love this video. I felt a bit called out with first remote, "something to do with your other hand"; after the conversation about me starting a TH-cam channel I looked at that controller.😂 I have a RC4GS waiting for me at a buddy's house, I figure I'll get a bunch of receivers to run my trucks and use the other stock TX/RXs I have for the "kid's" rigs. Eventually I'll buy a Phoenix or VP portal RTR, cuz that remote is nice in my hand and the adjustment is easy and on point. I guess I'll have to start the "Junkyard Underdog RC" channel on January 1st, then I'll be a new RC content JURC😂😂😂. First and Foremost, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR!!!!! Great Video! I am so glad you went into the importance of receivers along with transmitter brands. Affording a radio is right alongside the affording of the receivers. I got a GT5 rugged honestly only as an upgrade transmitter that I can use with the factory/original spektrum receivers that come on some brands. I find the touch controls to be, well, difficult to say the least. I am really impressed with the value of transmitters to hit the market lately. Now, this perspective comes from a non competitive, non racer perspective as well. I'm too novice to get into the latency speed and accuracy of professional level users but I don't think your audience is specialized in that so I feel this discussion is still relevant. At the end of the day, the moral of the story is you don't have to spend a lot to get a lot. The MT12 you mentioned is definitely interesting but not at all for the feint of heart. If you are not prepared for the intensity of that remote it may put you off rather quickly. Anywho, to address the elephant in the room, I am completely shocked at your announcement about the channel. This show has quickly gained a place on my Wednesday morning routine. With that being said, I cannot be selfish in this regard. Life teaches us as we grow older to understand that nothing is forever and cherish the time we do have anything. If you are doing this for better mental health or simply taking a break to enjoy life, who am I to be selfish enough to tell you not to do it simply because I want a video on Wednesdays. No. I will enjoy the time we have left on the channel and if you decide to continue, slow it down, or end it. I will respect that and continue to bug you on Instagram until you delete that as well then I will look where else I can bug you! lol. hahahha, talk about rambling on, look at me! Take care friend. Great info thanks , the DX5 rugged is the worst thing ever . just horrible interface , wish i never bought it .
