    The ugc game is evolving fast. I'm just dipping my toes into it and these tips are super helpful! I've also recently started using boost app social to up my content game. It's 8 apps in one, that's been a huge help in crafting my social media posts and stories. pretty cool!

    Of all the contents I've watched, this is the most informative video! Thank you so much for this 🥺 I'm from the Philippines, and we are just starting to be in the UGC industry. Tbh, most of us are confused with the difference of between microinfluencer, and UGC creator. Also, most of us are being "exploited" Since most of the brands are offering "x-deals" or "gifted deal" while having a demanding deliverables. Also, not a one time thing. It's just so sadd

    It's funny how you said you feel like it's the next generation in influencer marketing, because I was thinking the exact same! Also, just a couple of years ago, UGC wasn't used strictly in this way, rather it meant any content that was created by "users," or creators.
    I started to realize not that long ago that I could make a lot of money creating UGC content when I was approached by a UGC brand to make a few quick videos for some quick money. Now, I'm hunting down the best places to find work! That's the problem for me right now: I need to find the best places, apps, websites, etc. that I can go to or join, so I can find UGC work (the same way that I find my Content Creation work, but for UGC). I'm already an established Content Creator, and I'm really psyched about getting more involved in this sort of work, because it's totally my kind of thing! I think it's really fun! I know of just a few companies that are basically the go-between, the way Collectively is for Content Creation. But I don't know many, and I'm not sure if this is even the best way to find jobs. I think I should pitch, but I know a LOT of brands do use these companies.
    If anyone knows of any companies, websites, apps, etc. where I can go to or sign up with and find and get UGC work, could you please let me know of some?

    As far as pricing goes, could you just ask there budget? I think people just jumping into this it would be hard to know where to start with pricing.

    Great ideas about the advertising companies. These are probably the types of companies that I've been talking to and I guess the once that I have worked with, too, because they are basically just like the intermediary. Brands hire these guys, then they hire Creators. But I've recently heard of and been talking to people that say they're pitching directly to companies. I'm not sure that's the BEST way, unless you're being very strategic with whom you're contacting within that company & emailing the UGC Creator Manager, let's say lol.

    Hey Faith 😊 Your TH-cam videos are super helpful! I have a quick question. Compared to a sponsored video that I post on my TikTok account with 104K+ followers, do you think I should be charging the same amount, more, or less for a User Generated Content video that the brand will promote on their paid media but wouldn't be posted on my page? Additionally, if they want to promote it on their page (not mine), do I charge an extra fee on top of the initial fee?
    Thanks in advance 😊

    My rates aren't much different from my rates for a Reel, honestly, but I'm also a smaller Creator. I'm experienced, but I've only got around an 8k sized audience on Instagram, which is my main platform & most engaged audience. But I know what I'm doing, caught on quick, because it was basically the same work but tweaked lol. I do know that the only brand I've worked with so far wasn't paying enough at all.
    There's another platform I'm aware of that allows you to join by "applying," which includes recording some fresh and original content in 2 videos - For the 1st video, you have to sell yourself (to them), or a brand, (why are you the best person for this job? Why should I hire you and not the other person?). The 2nd video, you have to find something random, and sell that product (if you've ever been a server, then you've likely done this on job interviews lol). Each of these only needs to be 1 minute, and of course, you need to use best practices when recording (good lighting, good sound, no background noise, no shaky camera - use a tripod, make sure you're lined up and in the shot just right. You get the gist).
    What I'm trying to find out is what other companies are doing this? What would the job title of someone that hires Creators for UGC work be called? I feel like I am not doing a good enough search, but that I could be if I had just a little bit more information.
    If anyone else wants to chat about UGC Creation, if you're wondering the same things, if you're already established, trying to get started, or anything else, then PLEASE look me up on Instagram!! My ID is @thekateexperience on IG (and on TikTok, if you're not on Instagram), and I'd really like to meet more UGC Creators, chat about it, help each other out, etc.
    Hope to talk to you soon on Instagram! Again, my ID is @ thekateexperience on IG & TikTok & I'd love to chat! Ttys!

    • @faithelizabethvlogs
      @faithelizabethvlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's only good for SEO purposes - it makes it easy for people to search "UGC" and find you that way. you totally don't have to add it right away, you can totally add "content creator" on your name section of your socials if you'd like!

    • @faithelizabethvlogs
      @faithelizabethvlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i have always done a flat rate since i’m making content for the brand knowing they’ll use it, but i didn’t know usage rights was a thing until a couple weeks ago! i’m still looking into that myself, but i’ve heard people charge 10-20% on top of their rate!

    I am a faceless content creator on tik Tok and don't really have a lot of following. I also just got my digital marketing certificate and would like to know if this can help me stand out in th UGC community?

    • @annadiriley7631
      @annadiriley7631 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Having a little bit of a niche can help you, as well as the certification! Your following does not matter at all with UGC content. You are a content creator for them to post what you make, you are not promoting their products or services on your page. The most important things for you to stand out is high quality, well lit content and being professional. Make sure you stay true to deadlines, read their entire brief, ask questions, and have your files organized with google drive. I highly suggest making a simple website to showcase your work and have a page for them to be able to contact you easily. Maeva Salomon is another creator that made a youtube video about this. I find her website to be a helpful example. maevasalomon30.wixsite.com/portfolio Personally, if you take a look at her rates page I think those rates are too low. I'd say a minimum of $100 per video (10- 15 seconds), $150 for 30 second video, $200 per minute video and $50 per picture is a good rate to start out with. Don't let brands try to pay you less than what your content is worth, they can use this content forever and can make tens of thousands of dollars off it it. They have huge budgets for this, trust me. Most brands are going to want a package deal like 20 pictures and 10 videos = $2000-$4000+. This may seem like a lot but I think it's still very low! After working with a few brands and increasing the content in your portfolio start charging more, double and then triple.

    • @faithelizabethvlogs
      @faithelizabethvlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      for sure!! as long as you already have content to present to creators, you're golden. that certificate is going to give you a boost since you have knowledge that you know how to market your content to covert well into sales!
