    I like to think that their Mom moving on was more for the sisters than it was for Cora. She did the right thing in the end and brought them back together, in memory too. I like that fire came at the beginning to remind her, in a humble way, what it was that she did before the Powers that Be let her into the light.

    ok, i was confused, too, when Cora passed by.
    but if you remember, her heart is totally clear when she dies.
    because it was never in her body.
    it should be something like what you did without the heart in your chest doesn't count because you are not able to decide for good or evil

      Yeah, that just comes across as a convenient loophole. It was Cora's decision to take her own heart out, so the way I see it, anything she did without her heart is on her.

      @@MarieAnne. it's her decision before, but she is not able to act good AFTER she removed her heart.
      i'm not trying to justify, because i really think she deserves hell (and she is one of mu favorite characters).
      it's just a fact that regina's heart is half black, gold's heart is totally black, instead hers is not

    As for Cora, well I have a lot of opinions.
    -She tried to bamboozled a Prince (Leopold) into marrying her.
    -She lied to the prince about who her baby's father was, then got rid of that baby as soon as she was born.
    -She murdered Queen Eva (who at this point was no longer a spoiled princess, but a compassionate Queen who grew out of her faults).
    -She endangered Princess Snow, in a plan to have Regina become a savior.
    -Cora tried to force her daughter to marry the very same King (Leopold) that she almost married when she was Regina's age.
    -She was conspiring to kill Leopold and Snow once Regina was Queen.
    -After being banished from the Enchanted Forest, Cora took over Wonderland and ruled like a tyrant (As the Queen of Hearts).
    -As the Queen of Hearts, Cora had many people beheaded for just slightly displeasing her and to instill fear in her subjects. (this gets touched upon more in the spin-off series)
    -She later again that since the kill Snow, then kidnapped her former husband (Henry).
    -Eventually she got rid of Lancelot, impersonated him, and plan to invade Storybrooke and takeover.
    -She was attempting to convince Regina into erasing Henry's memory of everybody, she outright murdered Mary Margaret's/Snow's childhood nanny.
    -She tried to kill Emma, she tried to kill Mary Margaret again, she tried to kill Rumple.
    -In death, her spirit (assuming her younger form), still held onto all of her anger. And then this episode reveal even more of her heinous acts.
    My point is, if Regina has to work this hard for multiple seasons to be redeemed, why should Cora get a pass after only 1 freaking episode!?

      and if you are interested, I have an alternative version in the scene or cora kills daniel

    • @soixsantes
      @soixsantes 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Then here is
      Cora accepts finally the union of daniel and régina and she them give a gift, she sends them in our world (like baelfire at episode 1x19) and a minute more later, she turns into régina (with its powers) and takes his place and is married with the father of snow and spread a rumor than daniel is suicide because of snow, and when emma ward off the curse, cora decides of is suicide and of leave video messages

    Cora was without her heart, so her heart remained as clear. When it was put back just before death (in the underworld), she started fixing things. That's why she could move on to the better place once her unfinished business was completed (her daughters).

    If you say Cora shouldn't be redeemed then your also saying Regina shouldn't be redeemed. She was just as bad. Just something to ponder. 🤔🤍🖤

      @soixsantes 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you are right for regina, but when her son henry is came in her life, she has really wanted to become nice for him

    • @DucktorDoom
      @DucktorDoom 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "Just as bad" is subjective. Cora and Regina had different circumstances in life and did different bad things for different reasons. I find Cora more disturbing because she represents a real kind of villainy, namely child abuse. Regina is a fantasy villain; in real life there are no sorceresses who slaughter villages and take people's hearts.
      Ultimately, both characters are fictional, as are their crimes, and the only real impact their redemption has is the message it sends to the audience. Regina's redemption sends a different message than Cora's as their stories are completely different. Thus, it is not at all a contradiction for someone to say they think Regina should be redeemed but Cora shouldn't be.

    On one hand, I'm glad Cora, Regina, and Zelena are finally truly making amends. But on the other hand, its just one memory. Am I really supposed to believe that one specific memory, I'm done knowing each other for basically a day when they were kids, is supposed to rain that much bad blood?
