The Airborne March, the world's largest one-day commemorative march.This commemorative march in remembrance of the Battle of Arnhem 1944 is held every year on the first Saturday of September in Oosterbeek.
De Airborne wandeltocht, 's werelds grootste eendaagse herdenkingstocht. Deze herdenkingstocht is ter nagedachtenis aan de Slag om Arnhem 1944 en wordt elk jaar gehouden op de eerste zaterdag van september in Oosterbeek.

I found out about this last year when I visited Arnhem, this year I'm walking the 25km... I had no idea you Dutch did this to pay tribute to those who took part in operation Market Garden...
