Giyuu is stronger than Muichiro and obanai at least that’s my opinion he is nearly on par with sanemi obanai is heavily Overrated in my opinion he has like no feats at all the only feat he has is hitting a severely weakened muzan that’s really not a good feat especially since tanjiro did it while poisoned and exhausted and lasted longer than obanai who struggled against nakime and he had help from Mitsuri while giyuu faced akaza with tanjiro ofc but giyuu did a lot of the heavy lifting
Obanai isn't overrated. Manga readers know that when Tanjiro was down, Obanai single handedly, without his demon slayer mark, was able to fend off Muzan Kibutsuji. Tamayo's drug hadn't quite taken effect so this is a considerable feat to accomplish. He was making up the fight not only for himself but also for Mitsuri Kanroji, who had been taken out of the fight because she had lost her arm. He played a major role in Sunrise countdown arc, and even rescued Tanjiro twice, once when he first arrived inside the infinity castle and the other time when Tanjiro had gotten up and was back into battle. He also stabbed Muzan in the neck right after he and Tanjiro had realized that piercing attacks were more useful than slicing ones. Still, Giyuu is stronger than Obanai because right after battling Akaza that is, Uppermoon 3, he along with Tanjiro were the first two people to encounter Muzan Kibutsuji. He stalled Muzan long enough for Mitsuri and Obanai to come help them. Plus, after losing his arm, he still got up and fought with his left hand. He also held Tanjiro's sword when Tanjiro's arm was blown off. A heavily wounded Giyuu who had lost a ton of blood was able to fend off DKT long enough for Kanao and Nezuko to help out, Nezuko taking Tanjiro's attention away and trying to awaken the humanity in him and Kanao, injecting the cure that Shinobu made (Yes, this bottle of cure was made by Kocho, not by Tamayo. Nezuko's cure was made by Tamayo). Giyuu is among the only two hashira to survive Final Battle. Overall, Obanai is an extremely OP hashira with very low difference to Giyuu
