She was practicing for a horse-back riding scene for the movie, which later ended up getting cut anyway.

I heard he called the cops on her for dressing up as batwoman for batman returns as burton turned her down several times. whats also crazy is young became the idea b/c Warner bros originally wanted Spielberg to direct who wanted it bad & he of course wanted Harrison Ford & his co star from blade runner Sean young. Their was a conflict as Spielberg & ford were doing the same shooting & same release date for last crusade & many felt ford absolutely woupd not work which i agree. So Sean went out w/ the ford idea. Also a horse back riding scene ? Um why? a courting of Bruce & viki? Actually vidi's role was much more limited as the script changed so they re shot the ending so she'd have more screen time. I think an original story of not only the hero but villain takes a lot of time. In superman 78 his origin was done beautifully so we had more time of him & lois as lex's background wasnt necessary he was just some criminal. It didn't matter why. Anyway yea I think burton & WB when they finished it out had all blonde women as the leads. However batman forever was not good & omg the Clooney one i never saw but heard it was just a bunch of big names at the time & horrible. Clooney played himself as batman or Bruce. The later batman's i disliked bale or Affleck being basically rich playboys w/ confidence & chick's. Keaton was pitch perfect & I thought his chemistry w/ Kim was really good as she said she just adored him

Kim Basinger was amazing as Vicki Vale, but I think Sean Young would have been the perfect choice for this role.

But did she have to be replaced? They could have pushed her scenes towards the end of the shooting schedule, giving her time to heal, or write the injury into the script, or shoot around it. Whenever VV hangs on to Batman, it's with one arm anyway. The movie is so dark, this seems like something that could have easily been shot around tbh.
Since Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne is gonna cameo in the flash they should cameo Kim basinger as Vicki vale too without question she deserves it without a doubt yay! If that happens 👏👏👏👏

In an unsuccessful attempt to win the role of Catwoman (which was originally offered to Annette Bening but, after Bening became pregnant, Michelle Pfeiffer was cast) in the sequel Batman Returns , Young constructed a homemade Catwoman costume and attempted to contact Burton and actor Michael Keaton during production
I actually think Annette would have been a terrible Catwoman. Can't see her in the role at all. She is NOT in Michelle Pfeiffer's class..

@@savirsblacktop4069 prince was also there to learn he was watching what was being done on site by the end of 1989. He had already started preproduction for his graffiti bridge movie that he rushed into theaters in 1990. That movie has a lot of similar kind of set ideas.
There is a story about Prince and Kim developing a script from that romance, not as the subject matter but a collaboration and when they broke up a few months later, she took off with it thus thieves in the temple . and I wasn’t the first time people entered, stole
@@MijoShrek I could see that happening although the video for party man from what I know was filmed in Los Angeles set studio I think near Santa Monica and Highland. I forget the name of the studio.

On top of that I wish Tim Burton got to finish his Batman trilogy he deserves it without a doubt and I really really enjoy his Batman a lot but we’ll never see what he would’ve done with his 3rd Batman movie but it’s WB fault this is a huge fuck u to WB destroyed a wonderful Batman director for a shitty one like Joel Schumacher who killed the Batman franchise with that horrendous Batman & Robin 😡😡😡😡😡😡

As much as I liked Kim basinger as Vicki vale, I would have loved to see Sean Young do that role. Blade Runner really defined her.
Sean Young was a beautiful and talented actress who would've had a great career if had just kept her mouth shut and played the game.

I think it was meant to be. Fiesty Sean doesn't look so much the 'damsel in distress' and, as a result, Jack Nicholson would have appeared less scary. And this movie depended on him being very scary.

No apparently she wanted the role of Catwoman. But Burton wasn't ready to give her another chance yet. So she actually came to see Burton dressed up in a homemade Catwoman costume to show that she felt she could do the role.
