- 'Bagatelle for Piano (Esmeralda)' was written in 1997 for a dear friend's young piano pupil. The name 'Esmeralda' refers to the name given to the pupil's own piano. It is an easy piece in the Classical style and is inspired by the bagatelles of Beethoven.
