Jonathan Antoine's first appearance with Charlotte was breathtaking and just as evocative as Susan's.
She should have won 1st place. She's born with that voice, she just kept singing her whole life to make it better. It's not her fault.

I absolutely adore her. She is an amazing brave woman. When I'm feeling down I always go find her first audition, it brings me tears of happiness. She never gave up on her dreams, she never let fear completely conquer her and as we go in to 2022 MANY could learn from her incredible courage. It would have been so easy to stay in her quiet little home with her cat and hide, but she didn't...she DIDN'T. She inspires me to be FEARLESS and not give up!

Her first performance on TH-cam will always be my favorite. I watch it to see the purity in those first five seconds. People were moved and an entire room of people were in one part and in a state of grace right with Susan. The joy in this moment will never be diluted for me.
I couldn't have put it better, Lauren. That was a life changer for all who saw it and continue to see it. It was truly a momentous experience, rousing God knows what emotions, perhaps better not to analyse and just be thankful that humans are blessed to be able to have these feelings at all. Susan's voice has become more polished and refined when she performed the song again several months later after her first performance. I think even for Susan, the song now holds a new meaning for her because she offers more shades of meaning in her phrasing. It was a different cry for me the 2nd time because God allowed her to realize her dream and her life had gone full circle. Instead of changing with fame, Susan has become more of who God called her to be; providing joy and hope to the world through her talent no matter how late in life. God has blessed you Susan Boyle.

I Have always said there must be average looking people with incredible voices, that doesn't seem to get a chance, instead, we see a lot of singers with handsome looks, until Susan Boyle came along don't get me wrong, Susan, is beautiful, but she is more beautiful inside.
