Very excited for this. I would likely be picking this up on switch anyway or switch 2 if its out by then. I actually love the look of the original and MUCH prefer the hand drawn portraits of the original but still excited to play the remake for sure. I think sky sc and azure are the 2 best games in the whole series.
Was thinking of getting a steam deck to play this game. I'll wait for the remake. I want to start the series with Sky. But I'll keep an ear out for sales of the other games on switch.
I am extremely concerned that this will be a Switch exclusive which is a atrocious decision considering most of the fans are on PS who have been supporting the series the most, it seems kinda scummy.
I can see where your coming from especially given Falcoms roots. Hopefully it will be timed exclusive like what happened with the first Octopath Traveler or No more heroes 3.
@@elliotCloud-f6d Yeah like you pointed out with Kingdom hearts near the end that series was scattered on different platforms and was a incoherent mess. Also I have been following the Sky news very closely for about a year they said a few times they wanted to do something with it so more people have access to it since the original is only on PC. This Switch announcement and also them saying "PS is to be determined" is the complete opposite to what they were saying last year.
Nintendo financed the game, that means it will be exclusive to Nintendo and maybe it will come out on pc and ps after 1 or 2 years or never. Falcom said that he is thinking of bringing it on ps and pc but the probability is low, it is a pity that the first remake will be on Nintendo, Why he thinks the game looks good and that it will come out in English for the first time on its first day of release, why nintendo got his hands on it there
I fully expect the game to be a faithful remake.
The remake looks so different from the original. Looking forward to its release!
