I love your series videos.. I actually learn a lot from them! I'm a hair accessories collector..oh and dresses for my toddler girl... which is most of my collection
I love dressing the little girls... the girl newborns. I feel like it's so much more fun to dress the girls, more than the boy babies. Thank you so much for being here!
So true! I have spent a embarrassing amount on a doll and other dolls that were a fraction of the price of the expensive dolls are painted just as or more detailed … kinda crazy when I think of the cost of all combined- so I appreciate your video ❤ thanks
I'm trying to help myself and help everyone else who just keeps spending on dolls. I know we live in a very tough financial economy. Buying babies is an addiction and they are only getting more expensive, but many of us still try to stretch our money way more than we need to. I am trying to do this for all of us.... Although, I am struggling so bad to follow my own advice. I feel like I have a major addiction to buying these babies. Ugghhh!!! Thank you so much for being part of my channel!
Living the series! My "little things" is stuff for photos. Luckily, most of them are inexpensive. I mean little things like a new rattle that matches an outfit or blankets that show off the color of her clothes. Any little extra for a picture.
That's right Melody! That's another great little thing we can get into to deter spending so much on babies! Pictures are a good way to bond and enjoy what we do have!
Congratulations to M.S.!!❤❤ I guess I'd say I collect yarn. I love making clothes for my babies. I do not have a fav place to buy paci from. I buy from all over. Well I've never made one before but I had someone send me one in a box opening. I liked the creamer one you made in your video. I like how white and thicker it looked
Yes!!! Karla... for a minute I thought I saw that you collect YAM. I was like what? Then I realized I'm blind! Hahahaha. Yes, I really like the creamer method. So easy and it's like you're really making formula!
hi Melissa... yep you hit my "thing" : is shoes.... I am making them and I love the Carters NB shoes, Shame on me...I missed the contest.... slap my hand. I love the wheel.
I'm still loving this series, Melissa! I meant to come back to the last video when I was more awake and oops! I forgot! LOL Congrats to the winner! Yes, accessorizing is so much fun! I don't have a pacifier recommendation because I don't collect a lot of them and don't have many newborns. But my favorite thing to use for milk in bottles is Miracle Milk, sometimes also called Magic Milk! It's so easy and doesn't spoil. My favorite little extras to collect are little loveys and toys! They're just so fun and cute! I especially love finding small, unique ones!
Girl, don't sweat missing the giveaway. I'm sure there will be more soon! You're good. Thank you so much for sharing with us! I appreciate your comment! You have a beautiful weekend!
Great video Melissa. I collect vintage baby bottles but I just display them as decor for my nursery. For my baby prop bottles I like Tommee Tippee bottles. I use the glue method for fake formula.
🙋🏼♀️Hey Melissa… Great video! 💖💯 - I have a few favorites, but I mostly collect hair accessories, binkies, binky clips. Btw… Congratulations to the winner!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 PS. I always watch your videos to the end… I’m sorry for not entering the giveaway. - I totally forgot to do it… Uuugh. 🤦🏼♀️ PSS… My daughter in law is almost completely dilated… so I’m going to be a grandma any minute now. - Wooooo-Hoooooooo !!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love how you are trying to help us all, i am trying to dress my babies to their personalities :) I love vintage anything and collect outfits and baby furniture at great prices at the Thrift stores!! Simone xo
Ya know, when I get on TH-cam, I like to take something away from what the creator has presented. Many times, we just get the same content over and over. I'd like to create a community that invests time in one another. I think it's great to walk away with an idea or a lesson. It makes me feel good to give everyone new ideas or approaches to their hobby. Thank you Simone for being here!
I collect too many different things for my babies. 😂 I love it all. Headbands, hats, sunglasses, socks, shirts, shorts, pants, jackets, shoes, onesies, sleepers, pacifiers, pacifinders, lovies, blankies, diapers, bottles, rattles, stuffed toys… but the most “special” kinds of stuff I collect are antique, vintage (preferably either Victorian or 1920’s through 1970’s and preferably with a gothic or a circus theme) or horror themed (Etsy and Facebook have been my kryptonite and so are the stores around Halloween). I have a glass bottle from the 1950’s that I need to finish preparing for roleplay and I have a few dresses that look Victorian but they’re new… and I’ve got a celluloid horse from the 1950’s, a 1960’s high chair with a little lamb on the back, I’ve got a little ragdoll on a rocking horse from Big Lots that rocks, sings a creepy lullaby and lights up… I got an artist friend to make me a custom teddy bear that looks like Leatherface put it together for his son… It has real animal bones and fake clay gore and blood. I’ve also got a rattle that’s like a piece of wood or bone attached to a doll head with some beads and feathers that a friend had made in the hopes that it would go to a Texas Chainsaw baby and it did. lol TWO bloody little Texan Sawyers, in fact. 😂 Or there’s the dolls I got for free from another friend (they were prizes that I won) that are quite… uh… graphic and gory. But they’re gonna make great photo props for my babies sometime! And I also make stuff now!! I’ll customize my own binkies that I buy at the store since I can sew magnet pockets, I am learning how to make some pacifinders, I can make my own disappearing bottles (though my mom and stepdad have to seal the nipples for me so I don’t do this very much) and right now, I’m sewing up some blankets. I also bought material to make a sleeper for little Christopher a while back that’s printed all over with Grandpa from “The Munsters”. One of the few TV shows I really like.
I actually have not done a “formula”. I’m too scared of it getting messy. I just use my “magic” bottles. Or well… one of them isn’t a “magic” one, as it’s an antique and I don’t want to mess with a petrified nipple. I just need to get off my butt and slap some plastic wrap on that sucker so I can finally use it.
Sometimes we can get so carried away with collecting all sorts of things for our babies. I’ll think I have no clothes or not enough headbands and eventually, before I realize it, I have too much! LOL!!! 😂 It is fine but I usually have to clear items out for the new that eventually comes in!!! I bet you have a very interesting doll collection! As long as it is fun and makes you happy, that’s a beautiful thing!
@@ItalianPrimaDonna I do the same thing!!! I will think I don’t have enough of something, but more, come home and realize I now have too much. 😂 Which is tough because I struggle with getting rid of things a bit. I get too attached.
Great video! The most i payed for a reborn was 700. And that was the only baby at that price. I collect bows and headbands. It can change the look of every outfit. I use pollyfill in my bottles. Have a great evening❤
Reborns are just so expensive these days! I feel bad on how much I spend on the reborns, but then when I get them, I fall inlove once again.... heh! I am going to start to do the polyfil in the bottles. I think I'm starting to prefer that, if they are only aesthetic pieces to be just beside the babies. I really fake feed them. Thank you for your comment!
@@ItalianPrimaDonna I don't do much bottle feeding only once in a while . I rarely use pasifires unless I am doing a little role play. Yes reborns are expensive but there are artist who do still offer budget prices and I am one of them . Have a great day! ❤️
You are totally not kidding!!!! I can't believe it. It was NOT like this. I feel like prices increasing are not proportional to their supplies going up. I feel like the cost of the babies are way more than the supplies. It just doesn't seem right.
The prices of reborns are ridiculous now!

I do love the look of the vintage baby bottles. I also enjoy the Tommee Tippee bottles. I wish I had more room to store bottles.
My fav bottle is tommee tippee. Polyfil is my fav formula! 😂❤ and pacifiers I tend to love the newborn Nuk the best!❤
Yesssss! I actually thought about filling some of my bottles with the polyfil. It's a lot easier.

I’ve gotten some awesome outfits from TJ Max for 6.99 or 7.99. I love pacifiers and bottles.
Everyone says they've got such nice baby stuff. I should look. I live less than 2 miles from a TJ Max.
