their energy is different when they sing live
it's mainly because their songs are not really danceable and if people don't know/understand the lyrics they just watch...
but in korea people heard the song multiple times and they can sing along and enjoy the song

At this point I'm sure they themselves would like to sing live!! You can see how they don't put too much effort into making the lipsync believable. They have the talent, but SM seems to keep them in their comfort zone, which won't be good for the girls later

The comment section are toxic af . This is SM fault . Never aespas fault. Because nowadays all what they did to their artists is to let them lipsync.
I noticed that not only to aespa but all of SM artists who are having comeback or concerts. Taeyeon did lipsync on performing her latest songs. Red velvet too when they perform their comeback song. Even NCTs. And EXO Kai when he performs in Kpop flex did lipsync too.

many said ..this stage is not live . so i listen it again and again .when they are singing at some point i can hear their organic voices (double voices / overlapping voices ) on their own parts .. here their mic are on for sure .. when the music stop ,i can clearly hear their breathing through the in ear microphones. but , the backtrack is like 90% covered up . i think SM plan to reduce the backtrack loudness in the future when they got some experiences on stages. this may not seem 100% singing live, but i can feel the heat from their performances. i do like live . it’s okay i choose to believe in aespa skills. they look happy and the audience too. i personally like this stage a lot. Thank you for sharing .

Their mics are on. the problem is they got loud LAR (Live All Recorded). i think that's the reason why they didn't sinh live or if they sang. the LAR overshadow their live vocals since their mic also not that loud. SM should let them sing live like they did in coachella.. aespa obviously could sing live.

I can understand their frustration of SM not letting them sing live (literally, I’m annoyed about it as a fan myself) but their stage presence is still severely underwhelming and they’re actually in front of a crowd this time! When it’s their turn to sing/rap, they stand out ofc but when they’re not, their expression and energy just becomes….dull.
All of them are talented and as a whole they’re so amazing but you’re right. I feel like Ningning was the only one who smiled and kept the same energy when the others were singing or rapping. It sucks that they debuted at the height of covid so they’re just now allowed to perform in front of crowds. That debut time is crucial to their stage presence and confidence in performing. A concert is a lot different than a trainee test or music show shoot.
@@XxViciousVeyxX yeah, agreed! Ningning is the one that has the best stage presence out of all. And yeah, I could imagine debuting when Covid was at its peak made it 10x harder for them. Their Coachella stage was really energetic/interactive tho and I think the reason is bc they were able to _finally_ sing live. That’s why I don’t understand why SM isn’t letting them sing still. I’m hoping they’ll finally be able to with their comeback around the corner
