This is a remarkable display of physical endurance from both Steve and Nicko.
The way Steve’s bass sits in a frequency pocket that makes it prominent in the mix while also not stepping on the guitars is so brilliant and unique.
In my opinion the best bass & drum sound they ever had in the 80's. this album sounds huge and powerful , yet clear.
Steve Harris is the best. As a bassist & main song writer - he’s incredible.
yea the bass lines are insane , the tempo is crazy fast , the tone cuts through .. everything fits ! he doesn't have to be the most accurate bass player , the rawness makes all the character of the music itself!
