- **Announcement: We are so sorry to report that our Eaglecam is down for the remainder of this season :( One of the main parts (Charge Controller) to the System on Eagle Island failed & we are unable to access it & replace it until the eagles leave the area for their Summer Migration in mid to late July according to U.S. Fish & Wildlife regulations regarding Eaglecam Maintenance.

History: Guardian is Liberty's 3rd mate, they first paired up in February 2019 after her 2nd mate Spirit disappeared & was presumed dead.
Liberty's Mates: 1st mate~ Patriot 2004-2013; Her 2nd mate~ Spirit 2013-2019; Her 3rd mate Guardian 2019-present.
Liberty has raised 26 offspring from egg to fledging, including 4 sets of triplets '09 -'10 - '15 -'21.
Liberty has built 5 nests since 2005: 2 at Turtle Bay Area in Cottonwood Trees (current nest 90 feet high), 3 Nests at Riverview Golf Course in Gray Pine Trees (Alternate Nest Site 2015-2019).
Our FORE Ground Crew keeps a close eye on the Nest & the Nesting Territory.

Terri and the crew have gone above and beyond : Great job , Great season , amazing screenshots , amazing time spent remotely showing many diffrent camera angle's , these things are all made possible by volunteers , YES the cam is down and the show is not over , Get out doors and grab your camera , spotting scope , binaculars , webcams didnt always exist and us locals dont neeed one see theses guys Fledge and fleee the nest , Hope to see you on the river trail , THANK YOU TERRI AND CREW FOR AN AMAZING SHOW ❣❤❣❤❣
I enjoyed watching the babies born & grow. So sorry we all won't get to see them fledge. Thank you for bringing this to us.
I'm looking right above the comments that tells why the Eaglecam is down. One of the main parts to the system failed and they can't replace it till July.
I'm watching Bonnie and Clyde and their two eaglets. They have branched now.
What happened to the live video? Very sad!

I was hoping to see Liberty's eaglets branch. What a shame.
I watched these little eaglets grow everyday and wanted to see them fledge! Very sad I will miss that. Please don't put up a camera and stream live only to not keep it up and shut it down without notice! I feel mislead and very sad. Back to a better live stream. Big Bear with Jackie and Shadow. Sad!!!!
You need to read the post very carefully before you become "mislead and sad." These people do all this volunteer work to put up and maintain a live stream and you are upset and blaming them for things beyond their control? All of us who watch would love to see the two eaglets fledge. Hopefully someone can get us a fledge update a little later from a visual observation so we can all know they fledged successfully. Maybe Terri, Gary or Vicky?
I totally agree. The baby eagles have become part of our lives and to end the coverage the way they did is irresponsible. Even with technical issues, the channel still works and they could have told the viewers. Besides, someone must have been making money off this on TH-cam.
We are so sorry Kathleen but when an electrical part abruptly fails we have no notice either? We didn't expect it nor did we welcome it all! I can promise you that! We would NEVER shut down the Camera intentionally in the middle of the Season? I promise you that we are all really good people here at FORE who are just doing our best to share our Redding Eagles with all of you. We are not paid for any of the work we do, we are all volunteers. We are dealing with an older Eaglecam System & our Project Manager who also helps with the BB Cam will be overhauling the entire system so we can have a better viewing experience for all of us next season!
