The videos on this vac are terrific!! I have been researching, and I think I’m ready to buy this one (latest version). But now I think I’ll search for used first now that I’ve seen you repair it. And I’m definitely gonna clean it after each use. I repaired one that eventually died 15 years ago, and our new puppy is making us want one of these again.
I just bought one and used once and it seems like it dispenses too much soap cause what it sucks up is loaded with sudes , you cant even see through it. I think need to dilute even though it says not to but it is so easy to use. I love it
She is correct about the backing of the rugs breaking down and getting stuck in the washing machine. It happened to me and I had to throw the rugs away.
this is one of the most important features--to be able to open up the housing & easily remove rollers to clean. You cannot do an efficient job cleaning with dirty roller bristles recycling the dirt around and around
Unfortunately most carpet washers get dirty like that when you use them, even if you use a super powerful vacuum to prevac. Really the only way of dealing with it is to get a carpet washer that is easy to disassemble and maintain and keep clean. Obviously a good prevac job will minimize the mess that is left in the machine, but there will almost always be a mess to clean up in it, unless you're washing your carpets like once a week, which is obviously a bit of a hassle. Great vid though, I'm glad Mrs. VacLab likes it!

A new puppy will do that I suppose. 😁
Great Video Bill Nice to see Ellie back with her votes 👍

I haven't had that soap issue yet. Are you using the recommended Hoover soap?
It's quite decent actually. I wish we'd have these overseas!
total score mrs. vaclab!
I have pets and this just made me so happy ❤

"How many people are going to clean this every time?"
ME: 🙋♀️
Good.

Do you think the dual brushroll design cleans better than the spin scrub brushes on the turboscrub and the Steamvac?
Well, you'll have to decide as we've made a second video just today.

You can put the solution back in the bottle
I believe you go slowly when operating even when drying as per hoover I stru tions
Most people won't go super slow no matter what. Far to time consuming. Even robot vacuums go fairly quickly.
Does the rubber stopper on the dirty water tank stay closed while in use 5:45
5:45 is the stick vac bin dump.
She pushes and pulls so fast!
Uh no. That's a pretty average speed. Some may actually consider it slightly on the slow side. 😁

I think she goes to fast it won't pick up the water. You have to turn on the dry only button.
