I've had my eye on the Glitz palette for awhile. It's been on my "wish list" for the next Sephora sale. But now I'm looking at the Rose Gold one! What do you think? My skin tone is like NW33/NARS Aruba/Dior 3N. Stick with the Glitz?? I want that Peach!!!
Mmmmmm....I think some shades will work but definitely not the lightest shade of the rose gold. If that doesn’t bother you, go for it 😍
I’m in the exact same spot as you and I finally decided on the rose gold. I do prefer the glitz color story BUT if you look at pictures on Instagram you see that it has very chunky glitter particles and I’m not into that

Love the lookwith the rose gold! So pretty (you too!) I stopped though when you said Rephr brushes, went to my email (cause I signed up!) and then bought the brushes before going back to your video....lol. OMG....I have to stop buying things...lol. I am not a big highlight person, but the Dior is very pretty. I love the story of losing the palette.....I spit out my coffee. That is me every morning...lol 😆 🤣 😂

I'm glad you used these as eyeshadows. That's what I thought they were when I saw Kelsee's review and that's a great way to use the copper gold if it is too dark for someone.
The rose gold palette looks so fresh like flowers in spring! Also the glitz version is quite interesting, I could give a go to one of that girls 😊😍😁😂

I ordered the rose gold and the copper gold. I have fair skin so I know the copper gold mostly will be too deep for me to use as a face product, but I thought the shades were just so gorgeous that the idea of using them as eyeshadows sold me on it. The pure gold is just way too yellow for my pink undertones. I’ve been wanting to pick up the glitz palette for a while and with the upcoming Sephora sale I think I will definitely do that. Thanks so much for all of this helpful info!

Glad I watched this video, I had been lusting after the gold one but seeing this is making me content to just keep using my Glitz palette. I suspect with my skin tone, like you, half the palette would only work as eye shadow - and I have gold eyeshadow already.

morning, lovie!!! thank you for this review. we have a similar skin tone, and i was waiting for your reviews on the rose gold palette. it looks STUNNING on you. i don’t have any of these palettes so i was torn between either getting the glitz or this rose gold palette. i lovedddd that peachy pink on the bottom right, and i think that’s what made my ultimate decision on purchasing (hoping to be able to) the rose gold palette. i unfortunately wasn’t a big fan of the gold palette at all. thank you for your awesome reviews and your honest feedback. i just watched Tara’s reviews on these as well. that copper gold is going to look insanely beautiful on deeper skin tones. i always love and fully trust your reviews because of your honesty to us. btw, i know you’ve read this a million times but, your hair is growing so fast. is there something special you’re using? if you are, can you please let a girl know?! i lost soooo much hair with all the anesthesia i’ve had pumped into my body these past years, and i’m trying everything i can so it can grow out again. i do love you with your short hair. it suits and compliments you so well. it’s just pure awesomeness!!! 🔥💣

I love the Dior Backstage Rose Gold palette on you, Mel! I think it’s great that you can use the deeper pink shade as a blush! That one is my favorite as well. I have a cooler complexion, so I know that the Pure Gold palette wouldn’t work for my skin tone. I also saw the Copper Gold palette used as eyeshadow, and it’s beautiful! I also think the lighter shades could be used as or on top of a bronzer.
Just bought the rose gold one. I have the universal and think it will be a nice addition. Thanks for the review! I bought the whole set of refur brushes when you ran the sale last year. I like how they look and feel. Funny tho... they are still in the container.. I haven’t used them on my face yet. I need to test them out on my skin. I have been in a rut with other brushes. I need to swap some out. Lol.
I was going to get the Rose Gold palette but 3 out of 4 shades are too dark for me so I'll skip it. Thank you for the close up swatches and for saving me money!

I love the Rose Gold as well, and of course it looks best on you!! :) By chance,have you ever made a video on the Kevyn Aucoin products, specially the skin primer? I'd like to purchase it, but wanted to know your thoughts on it. It might have a little silicone-like feel to it, so I wanted to know. I use the skin sensual #6 on my undereye and wanted something to smooth that area out. Any ideas or suggestions?

Oddly I think this more convinced me to get glitz 😂 (it's still available in Aus Sephora). Picked up the rephr core collection then I saw there's a holiday set coming too 😲 I have quite a few odd the eye brushes which I love but I haven't tried their face brushes yet... might need to get the holiday set too 🙈
