Pc is in every way better, as it is a better platform, better marketplace and it is a more popular platform with most gamers. Also, mobile is shit.

a great addition would be body modifications and a small physics update. it feels like you're constantly in rain drifting. some more grip would help this game a ton!
I'd say add body kits and tire compounds like forza but label them as street or drift compound with different tread patterns that make it have different physics.
Slap, the sideways grip is tied to the suspension.... The more you slam and Less body sway... Also the tires wear out on all 4 tires, one way to fix that was to go in reverse and even out both sets of tires..... But it seems he's about to patch that so.... Hmm

I am thinking about getting it, but this video is also 5 months old, and not any current videos out there on the game. Is it as 'dead' as DSJ is? if so, is there another game you would recommend under $20 (or about that price during the upcoming steam sale).

I play this game on mobile. The game is pretty good for online. But there is no chat and the mobile version barely has any new cars. It seems they only focus on sponsoring videos rather than updating the game. And the pc version is not worth 5$. This game is good on online but sucks in other aspects. The drifting is VERY SATISFYING when you do get the hang of it but like I said , it does get boring with no updates.
A downside to the game, when your online your car tends to be a different colour for the other people on the server which means you cannot show off your awesome paint jobs. You also cannot hear the backfires.
I played it on phone you just have to collect the best stuff go into drift park 2 with the ls s13 or the evo and just go in 1st gear. My record is 4mil chain

There are limits on mobile, on PC there is pretty much none so we will definitely see them on PC.

Slap, I play on Android device I have issues on dramatic battery drain (play at nights) but enjoy this game... new update fixed backwards drifting
we don't have extensive material like your tire wear, air fuel ratio, bogs down too much, online is sometimes sketchy but overall very nice.

I prefer CarX because in this it seems almost impossible to spin out, like when you go to far it kinda stops oversteering as far
