Maryyyy I love your infectious smile❤️ and ur hair is so pretty! I have done hair and my new beautician loves putting oil on it and weighing it down. I tried telling her please just a little oil and she seemed offended when I did. What should I say next time 😞
This has happened to me about three times. My ends were my worse enemy! So, I schedule trim appointments every 2/3 months now. I don't have her straighten my hair, just wash, blow-dry and trim. So far, so good. I hated losing so much growth each time I decided to straighten my hair twice a year.
Yes, your stylist hair looks great. Love how she told us all to "get over it" with our hair. There are options, wigs, perms, braids etc, find what you enjoy and do it. I am loving the wigs and will literally be taking it to my grave.

Your hair is so bomb! Keya's hands are definitely anointed. After rockin' my fine 4c hair for almost 10 years, I've recently become a straight/flat iron natural, and I LOVE it. Wash days take 90 minutes tops now, and styling is a breeze. This is the first time since the early 2000s that I've gone this long without wearing a wig or protective styling. It feels like ... freedom.

I love this! I also have fine 4c natural hair and recently got it pressed and hate how it has body but seems flat too i guess I’ve outgrown straight hair but that’s the beauty of versatility

Everything about this video put a big smile on my face! It was so relatable! I got my first silk press last year and when I tell you my ends were terrible! My split ends were so bad that they were all through my hair, not just the bottom!
I have fine hair as well so I know the feeling of disappointment when you hope your hair will be fuller, thicker, longer and doesn’t hit like that 😭 sometimes I think I’m the only one but this made me excited for my next silk press 😊

Men don't know what they want 🤷🏾♀️ so it's dumb to do it for them. They love natural hair if it's long, loose textured or straight. Show them a 4c girl with a afro they won't have this reaction.

I have 4c/b fine hair as well and it grew longer when I'd silken it on a more consistent basis instead of wearing it natural. My stylist told me curly hair breaks easier so staying on top of trims is a must. Speaking of which, I need to get mine trimmed 😅. Your hair looks great!

You look great...I went back to my beautician and knew it was going to have a lecture because I dropped the ball...my hair was dry and had to get a trim...walk out feel so much better #selfcare is important and was a great reminder to keep up with my hair for what I want.
The final result was amazing, she kinda did give you a curly bob to an extent. 😊 I've been on a hair growth journey and what I've noticed worked for me is deep conditioning and moisturizing weekly and getting regular trims.

@MsNaturally Mary, I can definitely relate and say that I have gone to the salon hoping to get a trim and l got a cut 💇♀️. A recommendation would be to cut your hair once every three to four month. I like to trim once every season to maintain the health and integrity of my hair, so I am only cutting an eighth or a half of an inch off my hair. There is less time for split ends to travel up the shaft of your hair.
When you wait six months or more to trim, you will definitely be cutting much more than a 1/2 or 1/8 of your hair.

Wow, your silk press turned out super BEAUTIFUL! I hope you add into your 2022 vids how to PROPERLY MAINTAIN YOUR NATURAL HAIR UNDER WIGS!! There are a lot of ppl out here with seriously damaged hair because they think by washing and braiding their hair themselves , it’s ok but it’s tangled and damaged! I’ve just learned to do so up do’s with my shrunken hair. Since it’s unpredictable. I always have some Bobby pins. In case it happens I can do a little updo. It’s ideal just to wear your hair down at home. That’s my rule. Since my hair shrinks so much. Updos for hair that shrinks is life. All other styles are risky.
Your hair looks good! I have the same issue...my hair looks thick, until pressed out. It’s all good. Can’t deny that bounce!! And that style is classic. It suites you well. The other stuff does give, but I still think natural is best. 😁🌸💕

Protein has been theeee best thing for my fine hair. I also started to use Indian powders and my hair has changed a great deal. Keep moisturized with heavy creams , particularly creams with castor oil, and my hair has thrived.
