Surf Fishing Matagorda Fall 2022 - My biggest Bull Shark so far! - By Fisherman ATX

This was a day trip fishing from Austin to Matagorda Texas. It was a strong Cold Front with North wind between 20 to 25 mph. Still managed to catch some fish including couple of reds. I also caught my PB Bullshark 63x51x31 inch that was released successfully. Unfortunately, I did not catch the fight on video as I was cleaning my other rods from seaweed, then that shark bait got picked up and started reeling it the fish and tottally forgot to turn on my camera. I guess I got excitied as I thought I won't have any luck with sharks during the cold front.
The reds and other fish were caught on Breakaway rods from ‪@Nickaway‬ The Breakaway LDX was catching most fish 😊🎣. Thankscfor the awesome rods!
