Family of 4 coming from travel trailer world - we absolutely LOVE the Solis. It allows us to go ANYWHERE, park ANYWHERE, without having to think twice or plan every inch of our travel. While it may looked cramped, when you rotate the driver/passenger seat, there’s ample space… not to mention, when camping, why would you even want to be inside?! The Solis is AMAZING!
@@brittanyconner8955 Our younger one uses a large booster, older no longer needs one. Narrow car seats would definately fit. Keep in mind there are no LATCH/anchors so you'll need to use seatbelt to secure car seats - which is how it's done in some vehicles anyhow. It should be easy to fit one car seat and believe two would fit as well. We ALWAYS remove the rear passenger table while driving. I've seen crash videos where the driver seat hits the table which then hits the rear passengers - so we NEVER have it open while driving. Anyhow, regarding car seats, I'd definately find a dealer that has one or even rent one on Outdoorsy (or similar) and try it out.
Class B is really what I'm in the market for and I'm so glad to see this review with Mary! Loved the collaboration, and hope you'll do more. It was one of the best Solis reviews I've seen. In the meantime, I'm chasing down all her reviews I can find.
That’s the trick what’s the work I do. My equipment is based on. Just me always having a hold of the camera and when I travel, I just don’t have the physical space to bring an entire studios worth of equipment with me.
Hey Josh! Love your videos. I was looking through your playlists, and something that would be super handy for towables is playlists by weight range. You have thousands of videos, so I totally understand that's a daunting request. I picked up a Subaru Outback, which has a relatively low tow rating (and payload capacity), and finding videos of towables that vehicle can pull has been a challenge.
This is an awesome floorplan for solo campers where you can sleep in the pop-up and not have to mess with making a bed every night👍and while you’re pooping with the door open no one else can watch you😂
Cassette toilets qweeve me out. I'm still dreaming of that Jayco Swift I believe with the twin beds and bath on the back. Thank you Mary for your expertise!
LOVED MARY❤ VERY PERSONABLE, PERFECT REP FOR CAMPERVANS, AS MY WIFE AND I TRULY LOVE THEM, LAST NAME LITTLE, BOTH ONLY 5'6& 5'0. WE'LL REMEMBER MARY 4 SURE!!!!
The class B vans are nice if your going to say RV shows and want to take your pets. Like the roof top tent, but not sure my 6’ body would fit. Wife might have a hard time climbing up and down to roof top tent. She probably wouldn’t like the toilet or shower arrangement. Trouble with class B vans is there expensive for what you get. Glad you added a pretty face. Mary did a nice job as well as you Josh.
Yes! give us more of Mary and vans in general. we are tired of these heavy bulky trailers, with the bulky trucks and all that. we don't want to backup into narrow campsites and struggle to find a spot in overcrowded campgrounds. we want... freedom!
Another great video! Josh, I think, having some guest occasionally would be a nice theme for your awesome channel. I will subscribe to Mary and may I suggest Sean and Christie at Long Long honeymoon! Also, another favorite of mine is “We’re in the Rockies” Thank you Mary as well!!
I’m in love with Van Life Mary. But I’m thinking those locks holding the bed frame up, small table, etc; would rattle like no tomorrow on our illustrious American highways. Oh! I’m still in love with Van life Mary.
How well does it cool in the loft? I think ot would be nice if they could make the master bed also convert to a bench with fold down legs and add a table - maybe a movabletablethat you could use outside. So, if you do travel with kids and you homeschool, it gives an extra space to do that.
Saw a ton of B vans at the Raleigh show this weekend. Many with the Nautilus style water station in the rear like this one. But, I didn't see any way to pass the water supply hose into the space without having the doors open. What did I miss? How does this work?
Similar boat. I kinda like seeing what people can design with such small spaces(that's also why I'm subscribed to a tiny home channel or 2) and this probably the best overall channel I've seen for this sort of thing
Now I know Class B's are really popular but for us and we are only 2 people plus your dog about 36 hours in one of these and "we" would only be me and my dog and then it might be questionable about the dog. But for those that love them wishing you the best.
hahaha - I wanted her to enjoy some time in the spotlight for sure Also the display was busy and indoors. Horns are loud and annoying Not that it hasn't stopped be me before
I am definitely torn between which I like more, roof sleeping space or more solar power and an awning. I mean, I guess since it doesn't have an inverter and battery system that can power the climate control, I'm gonna have to go with the roof sleeper. Plus, I guess the awning's usefulness is limited to certain environments and particularly not good in parking lots. So, really, it comes down to "convention vs outdoors"
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You did a great job Mary, maybe we’ll see you again when Josh demos another B or a B+ rig….
I’d love to have her again
"It's van life Josh!"".
You won my heart Mary!!!
Honestly Josh Mary took your usual epic walk thru to a whole new level.
She was killing me 😆
“If you have to ask.. then you’re not ready”
She is a lot easier on the eyes! Thanks for an alternative view!
You bet!
Main theme for this video: "It's van life, Josh." 😄
Hahhaa it’s so true

Do your kids use car seats? I want to know how they would fit.

Mary was great on the showing of the van

Wow ty!
Re pole across back doors…..wet beach towels, or hand washed clothing….wet tea towels…etc
🙌🏻
1. This video was fantastic as always
2. Van Life Mary was a fantastic guest
3. Please get her a mic next time 🙂

Those roof top tents are cool, but I like the European step system better than the ladder...I'd be like Humpty Dumpty...
Great job Mary!

Love the idea. Our website really needs a weight search feature
I love this . Except for the bathroom!?! I need a shower and toilet to be!

Thanks! 😃
Hey Josh, you got yourself a B Van partner! Nice job Mary.
She’s great
Love this one!! Kitchen on the camping side 🎉
It's so good!
🤗🤗🤗Thank Y’all
Our pleasure
She needs her own TH-cam channel.
That’s what I’ve been saying
@3:08
Josh: What's on the floor?
Me: I use them for smuggling. I never thought I'd be smuggling myself in them.
😆
The cost make me cry josh but i love it when u show us these 🎉
I get it. They’re spendy

Mary is excellent
Great Job Mary 😊😊😊😊😊
She’s awesome
This is great, another amazing Bishiverse crossover!
I'm glad you like it

FREEDOM!!!!

I try when I can but lining up timing is tough
Took me and Mary 3 days to both be free at the same time lol
Good job Mary
She’s awesome
Mary is a gem
She’s awesome
There’s a recall on that , for gas problems
I’m in love with Van Life Mary.
But I’m thinking those locks holding the bed frame up, small table, etc; would rattle like no tomorrow on our illustrious American highways.
Oh! I’m still in love with Van life Mary.
They could probably be secured in a way to keep the rattling to a minimum

Probably not well. I lack actually any real world experience for this though
The bars in the rear keep the doors from slamming by a gust of wind.
Also handy
These are a neat alternative to a class c for a family. There aren't a ton of b vans that can comfortably sleep 4 people.
It is super rare

I don’t think you did. Seems like you have to leave the door open usually. Seems like a logic flaw to me
I dont even own an rv and i am watching your channel because youre so funny! I wish i would be in the market for one just so you can sell me one lol!
Maybe one day!
Ty btw 😊

Josh , U should have Mary help U do the camper van vids .She did a great job .
Mary's very much a B-Van specialist whereas I'm without question more of a towable specialist. I greatly appreciated her helping hand here
Mary showed us around a couple weekends ago, she’s super sweet!
Her energy is so contagious
@@JoshtheRVNerd it really is. She’ll be who we buy from when we are ready 🙂
1:54 150k beach day😂 beauty van though

I get it. They’re limited in size and space for sure
Use the bar at the back to shower yourself or your grandkids off,or out of a wet bathing suit. You knew that, I know ya did LOL
Does it even have a horn? Vanlife Mary has the Nerd off his game.
hahaha - I wanted her to enjoy some time in the spotlight for sure

Yeah I also think “how many people are we sleeping?” Is a major factor
Is this a 4x4? I missed it if you said. Sorry
It is not
You didn’t film it down by the river
I’m 35
I’m thrice divorced
And I live in a van down by the river

Mary's cute...is she married? Doe she wanna be?...
Bruh…
From the guy who’s always talking about how much he likes his lady friend and wants to cuddle with her…
I think the nerd has a lil crush on someone
Oh Gods! They put it on a Dodge (FIAT!!!) platform!! No! No! No!
Good job Mary
Mary's amazing!
