Lego keeps only using the avengers because they know that’s what kids will buy. The Avengers are a wildly successful movie franchise at this point in time, and much more popular than movies like the x-men (and way more popular than the FF). The avengers are just the superheroes that the kids can recognize easily on the shelf.
Don’t worry about getting them in minifigure form because Disney owns Fox now and therefore the xmen and fantastic four universe. The minute they make an MCU movie about those characters (most likely in phase 5) LEGO will make sets on them.
The minifigure we need the most right now is Stan Lee we have had this theme for 8 years and have not gotten a minifig i mean he is the founder of Marvel R.I.P. Stan
Yeah except he wasn’t the founder of Marvel, that was Martin Goodman, Stan Lee was just an extremely influential writer and sometimes artist for the comics. That being said, he definitely deserves his own mini figure.
K Wing I think one of the reasons LEGO marvel 2 was inferior to LEGO marvel 1 was because they didn’t have access to all the other characters that made the 1st game strong. But I still think they still can work the old characters back into a future game
the fact that this game has had so many x-men and fantastic four, and even spiderman villains characters that we've never gotten yet, its crazy we dont have them yet also glad you're doing this series again
I really wanna see updated deadpool, dr doom, and wolverine figured wether it's in games or sets, with duel molded arms and legs and/side leg printing and accessories

I genuinely feel like Traveler's Tales cares more about the superhero IPs they have access too more than Lego themselves. Lego knows they dont really have to put much effort into every set (especially with the variety of minifigs) to make people but the sets.
Out of all of those characters you listed, only six of them have been made into Lego minifigures since this video has came out. Those being Black Cat, Dare devil, Punisher, Blade, Jane Foster (Her as Thor) and Whiplash (The Mark 2).
Oh my gosh, yay! I remember back when you made the clone wars one I commented about doing the DC games and you responded something along the lines of “oh yeah, Marvel too.” That’s so cool you actually did it!
Imagine this Bricktober pack for the MCU:-Ivan Vanko with electric whips + bird(Phase 1:Iron Man 2); -Jane Fosterin her Asgardian dress with red power bursts(Phase 2:Thor-The Dark World); -Janet Van Dyne in her Quantum Realm suit(Phase 3:Ant Man and the Wasp); -Stan Lee with a white shield with the MARVEL logo.
You are so right about that everything that has came out for DC and Marvel sets in the last couple years wouldn’t hold up to a Fantastic 4 or another X-men set. I’m sure a lot of people would be right there with you on giving up a whole year of other superhero sets for just one of each or one or the two. I have a few villain suggestions of spiderman villains they should do next year in sets. Big fix lizard, kraven and chameleon cause they are rumoured to be in spiderman 3 as the villains, classic electro cause we got classic mysterio, black cat, and either kingpin as big fig or the prowler.
we got red she-hulk, a super adaptoid, 3 dum-es, 2 different builds of mysterio drones, giant man/goliath hank pym, a sentinel, ultron officers, a shield agent, iron spider amadeus cho x2, spider-girl jessica drew, spider girl anya corazon, the abilisk, 2 berserkers, a sakaaran guard, okoye's rhino, goose the cat x2, new chitauri soldier x2, multiple law enforcement, iron venom, track suit tony, and all those people from spider-man 1 and 2 but not abomination or whiplash? hulk has 2 villains made, iron man has 3 and a henchman. like bruh
One reason I like mini mates better than LEGO is because they don’t just stick to the avengers or mcu. The focus mostly on comics, and they aren’t afraid to make figures from more mature comics.
I agree Big X-Men and fantastic 4 characters and sets are a huge missed opportunity for marvel it’s absolutely insane it’s my most desired sets and figs as a collector :(
this is my favorite Lego Marvel character roster simply because of X-Men which makes me even more disappointed that there is no Nightcrawler which is one of my favorite X-Men.

Lego keeps only using the avengers because they know that’s what kids will buy.
