Famous Brinjal Gravy for Biriyani recipe by Chef Sunder in Tamil | Recipecheckr [ENG SUB]

  • If you are a biriyani fan, definitely you will like that Brinjal Gravy. It was very special, In some specific restaurants, people will eat biryani for that brinjal gravy. The actual name of that Brinjal Gravy is called Bagara Baingan, it was a Hydrabadi Dish dish that gives a tangier flavour like sour and sweet. In today menu I have taken this Bagara Baingan because you people requested it. Today I am going to show you a perfect restaurant-style Bagara Baingan especially with Biriyani. This video is in Tamil. But we added English subtitles as well.

    Here are the ingredients for this Bagara baingan recipe.
    Groundnut oil [கடலை எண்ணெய்] - 5 tbsp
    Mustard seeds [கடுகு] - 1\2 tsp
    Dry chilli [மிளகாய்] - 2 nos
    Cumin seeds [சீரகம்] - 1\2 tsp
    Onion [வெங்காயம்] - 2 Medium
    Garlic paste [பூண்டு பேஸ்ட்] - 1 tsp
    Ginger paste [இஞ்சி பேஸ்ட்] - 1/2 tsp
    Turmeric powder [மஞ்சள் பொடி] - 3/4 tsp
    Chilli powder [மிளகாய் பொடி] - 1 tsp
    Coriander powder [மல்லி பொடி] - 1 tsp
    Tamarind [புளி] - 25 gms
    Salt to taste [உப்பு]
    Jaggery [வெல்லம்] - 1 tsp
    Brinjal [கத்தரிக்காய்] - 250 gms
    Peanut [வேர்க்கடலை] - 4 tsp
    Sesame seeds [எள்ளு விதைகள்] - 1 tbs
    Coriander seeds[ தனியா] 1 tbs
    Dry chilli [ மிளகாய்] - 3 nos
    Desiccated coconut [உலர்ந்த தேங்காய்] - 2 tbs
    Refined oil for frying [சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்ட எண்ணெய்]

    Very tasty... Looks delicious... We, in kerala use only coconut oil.. We cannot enjoy kadala ennai... Is it ok to use coconut oil.. Will it taste as good.. 🙏🙏your follower from Kerala, but born and raised in chennai.. 😊😊

      Cooking oil or any refined oil. Coconut oil will change the flavour. But you can try.

    Except frying brinjal in oil .. everything is healthy .instead of frying in oil for health purpose brinjal can be closed sprinkling water and can be cooked beautifully ..

      @@RecipeCheckr No Chef do not shorten. I meant to say you complicate everything. We know that you are a Chef and studied much. We also know that you are trying to tell everything correctly. But make it little simple for common people. You seem to be lecturing for Chef students. It is good 👍you are knowledgeable. Whatever kind of knowledge "where i can shorten..." Im telling u r complocating. Why anyone wd want to shorten?
