This is a song based on a story from our foreparents' time. A warrior was trying to wake up his wife to say goodbye before he leaves for the battle. Normally, it was his wife who would wake up before everyone, stoke the hearth. But that day, the wife did not wake up and it seems, the husband out of desperation even sang to her. He had a premonition of his death, that he was not going to come back alive and would never see his love again. It is said that he left home with a heavy heart without saying goodbye and eventually, he died in the battle field. His wife on the other hand also had a premonition of her husband dying in the battlefield and so deep was her sorrow that she died in her sleep which was the reason why she never heard her husband waking her the next morning.
