Stealing money from your adult children and from their grandkids all so you can go on vacation puts you as grandparents in the lowest circle of hell. Your children and their children do not owe their parents anything for raising them. It's something that goes along with being a parent. If you don't want to be responsible physically, mentally, emotionally and financially for a child then don't have a child.
Cathy should have been reported to CPS for the child abuse. And the authorities could have ensured she was never allowed to teach children again Otherwise, she could easily have been re-certified to teach. If her son had only just started elementary school then she hadn't been away from teaching too long. They generally just have to update their own education, usually by taking classes. But CPS could have prevented any such attempt.
Placed cameras in the house to catch video and audio - and never bothered to take them with her when she left with Susan - so she went to all that effort and never watched or listened to what was recorded??
Why would you give your parents more money than you could spare from your budget? The answer would be NO. Also let your sibling know so something like this does not happen.😢
