I do have a memories at the age of 3, but I also think because they were significant or triggered by other senses. My most vivid memories are my Dad & I at the hospital meeting my sister for the first time, my dog chasing me around the house playing & riding the lawnmower with my Dad.
    Have fun on vacation!

💜 Great chat! Have a great vacation in Disney with your family. As for book chat, don’t sweat the deadlines. I enjoy your recaps and thoughts on what’s going on. Question of the week is a Nay for me. I can’t really remember anything before 5. I wish I did, my husband says he has memories from when he was a toddler that are truly his own and not just those planted from relatives reliving shared experiences.

Oh my goodness! Yay! My earliest memory is when I was 2. I used to climb everything and I climbed a 6ft fence into a yard with a pool(while wearing a dress) must have been a Sunday. I let in my uncle who is the same age as me and my older brother and we pushed lawn furniture into the pool. The cushions floated and we climbed onto them like boats to sail around. I actually fell in the water and should've drowned! I also remember getting my tonsils removed at 3!

Oh my gosh! If my kids did something like that I'd have had a heart attack! 😱

The puppy story is so cute! Most times I think animals chose their person instead of the other way around.
I've tried reading Red Rising a few times but I just can't seem to get into it.
What I do whenever 2x is to fast, is to start with 1.5x and slowly speed it up, once I get used to it, and eventually reach de 2x or the speed I want.
And it is a yay for me. But as in a comment I read down below, is greatly triggered by smells for me, I am sometimes in a random place and suddenly say, "oh, it smells like daycare", but it's just small flashes of images in my mind, not a full picture

The puppy is so cute!! Nope, definitely don't have memories before 3. I can't even say what my earliest memory is. I can think back and remember moments from, say, first grade or kindergarten, but I'd really have to think to be able to identify anything before that. A lot of childhood memories aren't really connected to a particular time, so it's hard to say.

Nay. I can't remember what I had for breakfast most days. 😅 my youngest memory is when I was probably 5 and I remember being in the garden with my family. I grew up on a farm. 😊

Heia🤗 My oldest memory is of me and my mom an a ferry in a winter storm 3 days before Christmas - we were going to the hospital because I had an powerful ear-infection and high fever. I don't remember much, but I do remember the Norwegian Coast Guard coming to tow the ferry and the ambulanse waiting on the docks for us. On the trip home we took the long way (with no ferry) and that was on Christmas Eve, and I was 2 1/2 years old... My mom refused to take ferryes for like 10 years after that😮😮😮 Have a fantastic vacation and don't worry about the readalong; we arent going anywhere 😉 Best wishes from Norway 🤗🤗🤗

Yikes, that sounds like a traumatic event! No wonder it stands out in your memory!

Totally felt the same about Damsel. It was an “okay” way to spend a couple hours of entertainment but nothing substantial, special or lasting to feel like it will stand the test of time. It is *far* past time to have a woman president in the US. We have not kept up with the entire rest of the world as far as gender equality in leadership positions. Ooh, good question! Nay on memories before age 3. I think my first memory is actually around age 5, and it’s a recurring dream I’ve had my whole life of a specific building/place. ❤

For my earliest memories I have to go with nay. I think my earliest memories are from 2nd grade so around 7 years old.

It's a nay for me. I have a few "flash memories" from around the age of 3, but nothing before that. I guess my earliest memory involves a neighbor around the same age. We used to pretend the natural gas tank (those huge pill-shaped ones that go outside) was a horse and we would go ride the horse together.

Check your sugar when you wake up feeling sweaty and off. Your sugar might be bottoming out. I’m not a nurse or a doctor but do have type 2 diabetes.

That's a good point! I have a CGM but I often get compression lows so I've learned to kind of ignore it until I've been up and about for a while. If it keeps happening, I might need to test the old fashioned way, just to be sure!
