When I scrub I use the pick under my nails but keep my finger tips under the running water. I appreciate that you say there is more than one way to scrub correctly. Sometimes videos (and trainers) insinuate that there is a single correct way to scrub. We also were trained to use the sponge in a circular motion on our palms for 10 seconds before going to each finger and the web space on the thumb. What seems important is to have a systematic approach as you demonstrate to cover all the surfaces.
Had THREE back surgeries within a year (roughly) time period a few yrs ago. Decompression, fusion, nuts & bolts etc. For the first Sx., when I was wheeled into the OR I was so fascinated with all the instruments and machinery that I wanted to take a video of the entire room but my surgeon said he’d take a quick video w/his phone & send it to me (never rcv’d it though - so thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Loved seeing the OR! Former dental assistant, I’m fascinated with all things “medical”. So very glad I found your site! Pls. keep ‘em coming! Very much appreciated! And I’m not even a student about start my education as a tech. (I’m an old fart, retired grandma with a bad back and body that started ‘falling apart’ 😊
Ooops! Wasn’t finished when I inadvertently clicked “Send”! 🤦♀️ - Anyway, just wanted to make sure I expressed my gratitude to you Derek. Thank you for taking the time to do this! 👏👏🤝👍🏽✌🏾🫵🙏🏼🫵🤗
Sir I'm studying Bs surgical technology so can you tell me about after operation which detergent or solution use for hand wash. Before surgery it's ok i understand but after surgery can you tell about ??
Whenever the case or surgical procedure is complete, I use regular hand soap and water to wash myself off. You need to be surgically clean to scrub into a procedure but at the end, you don’t need anything special just soap and water my brother.
All have sinned against God. The wages of sin is death. But Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and resurrected on the third day. Repent and believe in him. Give your life to him.❤

I’m sad that water is wasted
I’m sorry about that at least it was used in the name of education.
The first thing you do is to put your surgical mask on properly. I couldn’t watch this video.
