I got a 3.67 GPA this year, way better than my my 2.7 GPA last year. I guess changing universities and moving out really helped my grades, even with strictly harder classes.
Hey! I'm a physics undergrad in Brazil. I love physics but i was having a hard time in it because it's really complicated to be a researcher around here and I was being scared of not being able to find work after graduation. Your videos, specially the vlogs, have given me a lot of motivation. Thanks!!
Hey, man. How is it going for you? I am from Brazil too and the research field here is indeed complicated, but you surely can find a job after getting a master's degree, maybe you can even study abroad. I am not from physics, i am a plebe from engineering, but i do admire you guys. Best of luck!

Could you show us how you do one h.w. problem, what sources you would use and why, citations (and how to cite a source), how to develop the steps in solving the problem, how to show (present the h.w; how does it look when finished etc.) and any other useful tips, thanks.
Man I feel you when you said QM is easier than classical in some regards, well in theory maybe not in practice, but my QM course was one of my strenghts also LOL
In preparation for GR I recommend Geometrical Methods of Mathematical Physics (Bernard Schutz) and Relativity, Gravitation and Cosmology (Ta-Pei Cheng)...enjoy the ride bro
Just finished finals as well! I plan to spend summer studying for fall courses along with some health and fitness. What are your summer plans? PS - I put tabs on my notes for topics and important equations that way if it’s open notes I can easily find the topic!
I know you probably won’t see this but the guy who wrote the physics of superheroes book is a professor at my school. I’m in undergrad at the University of Minnesota. Overall a pretty funny professor who’s very passionate about his book, but not the greatest at explaining Intro Thermodynamics.
@@nestorv7627 lol my joke is so bad that no one understands... sad there is a field called classical mechanics, but quantum mechanics is superior, i was trying to make a joke out of that.

And here am I, preparing myself for university to study physics, but trying to memorize stupid literature notes that I dindn’t choose to study. Good luck with your exams btw!
next week i have my E&M permission exam ( yes at my university we have multiple requirements to get a permission for our final) and i could next some advice for a good textbook. Ty you guys in advance :)
Hello dude, love your videos and physics but i am curious how much do you need to study in order to stay alive in that branch. I want to learn all that stuff but a litle bit lazy to study and probably going to play dota all day or min. 4 hrs a day and just wonder how much i need to sacrifice in order to understand all that stuff ?
If you're familiar with music theory, it's just a ii-V-I progression which is everywhere in Jazz. In this case specifically, though, it was Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 haha.
I am so upset. I got a C in Calc 3. The content was easy for me and a studied like a mad man, but I struggled on his tests (which were 90% of the grade). He actually allowed me to take one test over because I did so poorly on it (I got 95% on the second version of the test). But I got an A in Phys 2 (Lower division EM) and a B in Phys 3 (Lower division Modern Physics). In a few weeks, I am transferring to UC Santa Cruz to begin my upper division Astrophysics major.
Hey Andrew, can you help me out with something? I'm about to finish my undergrad, can you help me out with what classes I should take in my masters, and what universities should I apply to?
That cat is a legend. Did you say quantumy?!??! How are you better than Antman and the Wasp. Answer me that! One of your videos had your personal contact information on screen for a hot minute. Did you ever fix that?
Andrew, I have an honest question. I'm currently an undergrad double majoring in physics and math and I plan on going to grad school for physics after I graduate. I know grad school is typically cheaper than undergrad, but with a physics degree, are you able to work and support yourself while in grad school? Or do you find yourself having to depend on other people financially? Thanks in advance!
did you start your lecture with "what's going on smart people"

"Regardless of how it goes, it ends tomorrow"

Absolutely

yes, one day, after grad school, I think for a while, he may try taking up smoking a pipe, wow, I would love to see his mother's reaction to that.
I took one physics class and I couldn’t go further. Congrats on finishing!
Congratulations on your grades Andrew, very proud of our tensor boi.
since youll have a summer break and just got the piano you should play us a song on the piano and show us your skills! I would love to hear it!!
