so, here you will see the example controlling the temperature of your room using temperature sensor. I usually control the temperature of my room by opening and closing the window.
and then example of automatic car control, and explanation of what is actuators and controllers
and by the way. nice lecture once again
and then we will see the two mathematical representation of system (the class we are about to study) that are.1 transfer funtion and 2. state variable representation.

    Dear sir,
You have explained the concepts very well. Can you suggest some books of control theory.

Sir please clearly differentiate between sensor dynamics and acctuator dynamics .. I'm not able to get it ..

Sensors are used to measure the output of a system, while the actuator is used to produce or prevent motion.
Dynamics is referred to as the relation between the system's motion /response and input.
These sensors and actuators may have their own dynamics that may affect the control input of the system.

I am not able to grasp that actuator part. Can anyone help me out?

actuator is the component of the system which is responsible for bringing about some kind of movement as per the mechanism of the system..so for example after coming to know about the degree of rotation of the steering wheel the motor will actually move the steering wheel. And actuator dynamics come in to picture when this motor by itself will have some delay.
