lol looks like the guy that posted this didn't realize that a virus will replace itself if its hooked to an internal source that requesting from an external source.... basically a 3 stage Trojan horse that will keep sending more soldiers in you can get rid of the virus but if you don't get rid of the one manipulating the Background Intelligent Transfer Service you kinda haven't done anything but pressed the reset button...
wow! ang galing naman, sana sir dagdagan mo pa ang ganitong uploads. kailangang-kailangan ito ng mga katulad ko na mahirap lng para makapag pagawa ng mga ganitong problema... more pls.. salamat
You're right bro! When I first downloaded the NPE and Scan my Computer. I'm so amaze because even a Hidden Files that have virus can be found by NPE. Not like other Anti-Virus even you use their Full System Scan they can't find/detect the Hidden Files that are infected or have a viruses.
God blessed to the people like you that willing to help everybody solve their tech problem that majority of us PC and Laptop users had been taken for a ride for too long by this hightech bandets" Internet Super Highway Pirates ", It'sworst than the Pirates Of The Sea in the old days. Keep up the good work kid!
Great tips! recently got a vicious trojan virus, spent 3 days trying just about everything, Norton antivirus made my pc worse!!! it was time consuming and frustrating finding that virus! Since i usually back up my important files i decided just reformatting the HD and reinstall the windows software was the easiest, fastest and best solution for me to get my system going... in all i spent 3 hours doing that, the lesson here is always take the time to back up important data, pc runs as new now!
Thanks for the help. My buddies computer caught a virus. It will not let him use the task manager OR safe mode. He has music and pictures on the computer, so until he gets an external way to back up his media, formatting is out of the question. So this helps alot. Thanks Again!!
appreciate the video man very helpful without you posting this I could not have done it, sorry it's 2014 now I would have caught the other video and donated, really appreciate it thanks again!
Thanks for sharing you knowledge. People may know their way around command line but does not remember the basic stuff, that can be easier to do, like you just showed.
i like your initiative to instruct people who downloaded and willingly executed an obvious self-replicating program. but reading the comments makes me feels like it's a lost cause.
@ShadowAssassin887 As the uploader of video said: Check some of the startup programs. Or go to the menu and search for 'msconfig'. Msconfig has a overview of all programs running when start - up. Check if your sound system is on or not.
no, you should have a backup system on your computer. If you are using a dell computer, dell provide you with a backup you can easily get to on your control panel, if not you might have to look it up for your type of computer.
does this really help? I am watching this now for the future because i am always getting viruses on my laptop. I want to learn how to delete them myself instead of asking someone do it for me. But this video sure does look helpful. has anyone watched this and did work out for them? I would like a reply from anyone =)
I am not a computer genius but I always am of the belief that it is always best to backup, then from there you go ahead and pop in your recovery disc and start from scratch. YES it may take a while but I know hackers are kinda smart these days and attach themselves to system files and when you remover the virus, you end up with more damage. As long as your'e backed up this is always your best option, your computer will be like new and you can install the programs u really use. BACKUP though!!!!
if you know a litter be about cmd (commands) you will understand. the tutorial was perfect. as you see he has no virus in the computer. you can maybe ask for example with the insfected computer and step by step to remove. thanks. pay attecntion to the txt that he is writting and forget about the music.
@Halferfly hi, actually, this was to help you figure out about virus/worms, but this won't guarantee will solve all the problem. If you cmd is block, you can try to use the run command to restore your cmd, but you have to stop the virus process first. And to stop the process, you'll need the task manager, if the task manager is block by virus, then you need an extended task mgr. If those doesn't work, proceed to safe mode, then there you will stop all the startup programs of the virus.
@someono123 hi, services.exe is responsible for running, ending, and interacting with system services. If that was infected, deleting would not be a wise choice. If it keeps running without your command, try to boot on Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing simultaneously the F8 button before the Windows starts.
if you can't do this (for any reasons) make a comcast account and download constant guard. then (in the constant guard window) download norton and then norton power eraser. runs scans on both. i did all this in 30 minutes.
@GlaMouRJoNes89 if that happens, you use safe-mode and there you use command prompt(cmd). If you're using windows 7, try to use Resource Monitor. It's a powerful tool too.
just press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Del. If you are prompted the task manager has been disabled by your administrator, it should have a virus or other related problem. Just download the external task manager.
really liked your video could have been better with a different type of music. Had to mute it just not my taste in music, but never the less I liked your video and fount it very useful.
+Crazy Rowdy Dawgg If you're trying to teach, you would do to give some consideration to all of the variables -including the auditory environment. This is not about what YOU like, it is what facilitates learning on the part of your students. My guess is that, for most listeners, the music is little more than a distraction to be "masked" in order to concentrate on your voice and words. Just a tip from an old college prof. Dr. S.
Try loging in as an adminstrator then try again btw, your firewall/hips/behavior blocker could be blocking CMD from doing it's job which security suit do you use?
Dude, since one extra cable that is tied to the main lan cable, how about adding another two or more cables around the lab cable, will it double or triple or multiply the speed as well?
@fab5777 how long dyu wait before restarting? try (if using vista, etc.) pressing ctrl+alt+del to open the security options then click something like task mgr. Ive found that sometimes a comp can get stuck on some process, etc and just needs a little kick in the right direction. If this doesnt work let me know.
@ShadowAssassin887 hi, I would recommend going through safe mode by pressing F8 simultaneously before the windows starts. Then check there if there's any malicious files by following the video. You can please try to check the startup from msconfig.exe and list your uncommon startup and try to google it and you'll know if it's the virus or the once causing your problem. Hope this helps, Thanks!
when you widows open press clrl alt delete restart turn on and before widows open press f 8 then after that type explorer then it will turn on then go to run type %appdatal% then delete skype and there should be 2 delate of them then turn of and on it should work
Thanks for sharing this awesome informative video. There are malware files which can exist in executable code, scripts, active content and other softwares. There is a website names file-intelligence which is a malware directory with descriptions of different malware files and the description of malware files with different extensions.
The file may be hidden. In extreme cases I do this: Download and burn a copy of the Puppy Linux live CD. Boot from the CD so you are not trying to "change tires while driving the car" Click on the hard disk icon (once). Click the eyeball icon in the top of the window to make it show hidden files. Troll around to find the file in question. Delete it pop the CD and reboot
there are some viruses that wouldnt even let me control my laptop. It was like a pop up and I couldnt do anything. So, would these steps remove even the really bad viruses?
I found my redirect virus. I deleted imhost, then ran malwarebytes. Didn't do squat. So i came here found out that task manager could hold virus. Then went and found svchost.exe researched it, then right clicked it to see what was runnig and that darn imhost was there, but deleted from files. Right clicked imhost and made it stop running, now i can use google without redirect virus. Yay. Would have never went this far with out this vid, and slow google searching. Thanks,
hey wat if u have a virus that makes the background of the desktop just turn black and then all the folders that r there u cant see the also wat do u do then
I downloaded something for roblox that would do a piano song for me, and i cant get rid of it, it gives me popups, my computer is slower than usual, and it wont let me download mcafee. Im legit scared. Please help..
@Ralph3able Turn off your computer, turn it back on, but keep pressing F8 once you've pressed that power button. A menu should appear. Choose Safe Mode with Networking. Open your web browser, go to google, search for Malwarebytes. Click on the first link, and download and install Malwarebytes. Run a Full Scan, and remove any infected files. You should be able to use your computer normally now, but you should get a proper antivirus to prevent future infections.
Glen, any idea how to get rid of a dllhost.exe virus? malwarebytes keeps blocking it from going outbound, but doesn't remove it and neither does Vipre antivirus. don't feel like formatting my hard drive.
@badboy11m I have 3 steps to do before I format. 1. Anti-Virus scan, like Avast, do a boot-time scan after a full scan to clean up files it missed. If that doesn't work... 2. MalwareBytes Anti-Malware to run a scan in Safe Mode, if it's a Rogue, use RKill first, then MalwareBytes. If it's a Rootkit, use Dr. Web CureIt's scanner to search for a rootkit. If MalwareBytes didn't find the Virus, or didn't remove all of it, then... 3. Dr. Web CureIt LiveCD/USB, which should get rid of it. Never format
@Eckoez1 hi Eckoez1, at all times NO...actually I only used safe mode once the virus/worms are impossible to delete or end in the normal mode. And if your normal task manager can't stop the process, try to download an extended task manager. If you are using windows 7, Resource Monitor is more powerful as I used on ending processes.
I have a question when I type c:\ windows attrib it show c;\windows\windowsShell.Manifest infront state that HR c:\windows\bootstat.dat s the S in front of it. is that virus too. should I delete thanks
please help i got a really big problem, a virus wich i have is very strong he's don't letting me to install any program or delete it. and even though i do all the things as administrator. still nothing happens. i tried to shut down the virus in task manager nothing happens. What should i do ?? sorry for my bad english.
this is how we know it works we check if theres alot of likes then we do it....
so true but when you're desperate you just go with all of them haha

i like this i really do it shows any average G can pick up a computer and apply themselves in computer science

Nice tutorial Michael,
@TheCleetz Look up process library and search for the exe there. If not, check google. Those are always the best options.
that is good. but where do you learn to work with cmd. any tutorial, book. or something like that?
@fab5777 how long dyu wait before restarting?
try (if using vista, etc.) pressing ctrl+alt+del to open the security options then click something like task mgr.

@reap62 Did you try to download it to flash drive on separate computer?
Do you keep the quotation marks in when typing in the filename? eg.
"virus.exe" or virus.exe
the command prompt is also under the accessories tab in start
Thanks for your time

The file may be hidden. In extreme cases I do this:
Download and burn a copy of the Puppy Linux live CD.
Boot from the CD so you are not trying to "change tires while driving the car"
