I bought one from EBay last year for a good price and it was slow to arrive;so I bought ANOTHER ONE because I was so excited to get it. Not disappointed at all,even though I have 2 of them.
I bought this camera in 1997 along with a 75-300 mm zoom and 18 -35 wide angle zoom. The best ever camera ever -- used it until 2007 when I transitioned to the digital (classic) 5D! No regrets! Still using the lenses - although I have added two fast lenses now!
I bought an EOS 1 from KEH camera years ago in very good condition for his age. I also bought a near mint condition EOS 5D. In the lens stable is a 50 mm f/1.4, 70-200mm f/2.8 and 24-70mm f2.8. The digital and film camera covers everything that I need.
For a regular Nikon user like me, the menu seems unnecessarily complicated, but it’s interesting, how far Canon was in the late 80s. Some features are lightyears ahead of the Nikon F4.
Hi Pepe, Try removing the battery from the camera and cleaning the terminals inside the battery grip, maybe the error you are getting is due to poor battery contact with the camera terminals.
Hello so I just got my eos 1 in the mail and for some reason when I focus the 5 autofocus points do not illuminate does that mean there’s a problem with it or am I doing something wrong
Hi Jean, As far as I remember when automatic focus point selection has been chosen, they should not all light up at once, only one will light, the area with the highest contrast in the scene or the subject that is closest to the camera. Personally, I prefer to manually select the focus point so I have more control over what I want the focus to have since by making it automatic most of the time the camera selects something I don't want.
Photography And More thanks for replying yes none lights up it makes the sound and the in focus indicator lights up but the center focus point doesn’t light up at all. Was it just a eos 1n feature that wasn’t included in the first eos 1 I’m just working because I purchased this from eBay and want to return it if the camera isn’t functioning properly

You have tried to focus in automatic mode by pressing the rear button of "AE", this camera has the possibility to configure the shooting button or the AE button to focus. If the above does not work you can try canceling all functions at a one, open the palm door and press the white button marked "CLEAR".
Hi Robotaus, This camera does not have a sensor, it is a film camera. On the other hand, it is advisable to take our digital cameras to service so that a specialized technician can do it since the sensor is a very delicate part.

When I try to take a picture is flashes bc. But my battery is brand new and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
