Domane AL2 na rim naman yung una kong road bike. Binili ko last year. Tama ka sir, it's a good starting point for upgrades and a really versatile bike. I'm going to take it to my first race (duathlon) this July.

For me, reasons to transition from mtb to rb is the weight and speed, first time ko maka try ng roadbike is soo fun sa kalsada, mas magaan ng di hamak and rolling resistance halos wala, although nakakapanibago sa geometry, the advantages gamitin sa road ay malaki kesa sa standard XC style bike, although diko talaga forte and road and masaya ang light trails, napapaisip rin ako minsan ng mag roadbike na lang kaya ako? Anyways nice video as always! And always a supporter of your funny ironic channel

Domane AL2 Disc is a good starter road bike ...and yes....you may want to upgrade to better component later on (105 or Dura-ace R9200?) but as it is... as long as you're comfortable riding it then its OK...
Idol saan po tayo nakakabili ng mga rubber grommets para sa butas ng internal cable routing? May butas for dropper po ang frame ko at di ko naman na gagamit. Maganda sana kung matakpan nalang muna habang wala pang budget for dropper.
Congratulations on your Domane road bike! Try mo maghanap ng area nearby para makapag Laps training ka, para maimprove yung endurance at maximum speed na kaya mo. I'm also a roadie (Foxter Carrera upgraded to racing specs) because I prefer/enjoy speed and endurance ride. I also ride XC trails sometimes, because it's also fun specially when you passed the technical parts (Giant ATX2 upgraded to XC components), and I'm also a bike commuter so I have a 3rd bike built for commuting/touring 😅 (Trek Marlin 6 converted to Monster Cross). Have fun on the road, but dont be a jempoy. Ride safe!

Hello sir! Trek Domane AL 2 Disc owner din ako. Agree ako sa sinabi niyong hindi the best ang components, pero yung bike, can be something special pag pinroject talaga. Taga south lang din ako! Sana makita ko kayo sa daan or maka ride soon! Magshare tayo ng notes sa Domane natin hehe.
bago lang ako sa cycling and ganon nga no. sa big brands yung brand talaga yung nagpapabigat sa price. pero atleast malamig sa mata yung frame kahit lugi sa ibang stock components haha

@@UnliUpgrade If losing weight on the bike is a priority Tubulars. You don’t even need to glue tubular anymore with double sided tubular rim tape. You can also run a sealant on tubulars for flat protection. However tubular tires are more pricey. Clinchers is still the cheapest tire option. Tubeless on a road bike isn’t mature yet IMO. Running a tubeless sealant + Vittoria tire liners would just add extra weight.
4yrs gravel user all road groupset with 33-35c tire set up andun ang speed at okay sa mga lubak. tapos ngayon nakagamit ng mtb mga 40km ride. sarap din gamitin lalo sa mga bumps at sirang daan. kaya lang nakakapagod. di kasi ako spinner.
Makabili nga ng 2 pares ng medyas merch mo. Yung isang pair para sa mga paa ko tapos yung isang pair para sa loob ng cycling shorts. Gusto ko ultra bakat para mas maangas sa ratratan at ahon.
I have the same bike and plano ko rin upgrade ng crankset muna to 105 r7000. Then wheelset. Actually yun lang plano kong upgrades. Wala bang issue na yung 105 crankset is made to match 11 speed na cassette? Or kailangan ba palitan rin ang front derailleurs to 105 r7000 (or equivalent)? Thank you!
Mag 1 yer nko sa biking pero laking bawas ko sa timbang from 75kg last june 2021 - 60kg @ present it’s some kinda different if u religiously bike to lessen ur weight , long rides is the key at least 3-4 times a week with combined short uphill rides and long rides as well… i just finished my 1st ever xc race yesterday medyo kaya ko na pala makipag sabayan sa amateur xc riders and that’s a big improvement to me to us if we go into biking seriously and with dedication….@ the age of 40’s haha….from a motorider enthusiasts to biker , thank you pandemic 😆
meron akong Slash for enduro rig, mas trip ko trails pero recently had an opportunity na magkaron ng domane. Reason ko para magkarga ng stamina at maiba yung discipline, minsan kasi need tlga maiba pra di manawa lol. the other side, para may iupgrade ako 😆 Congrats sa iyo idol! panalo yang Domane!
