THE INSANE STORY OF SILK ROAD - The illegal online marketplace on the darkweb, where you can buy ANYTHING imagine... Welcome to: "A Journey Into The Dark Web: The INSANE Story of Silk Road".
Beneath the normal internet we all know - like TH-cam, Facebook, and Google - there lies the dark web - an anonymous unregulated world, with websites not accessible from search engines, a hidden corner of the internet where anything goes. For a while, the biggest site on the dark web was Silk Road, an online black market for all kinds of illegal goods and services. But what’s perhaps most surprising of all about this, is who was behind this illegal empire. Meet Ross Ulbricht, Silk Road's creator. Ross grew up in a loving family in Texas. He was a boy scout as a kid, studied physics at university, and was thought of as a very sweet guy by all his friends and family. So, imagine their shock, when they realized Ross was the criminal mastermind behind the largest online drug empire in history, responsible for over $1.2 billion dollars worth of sales of illegal goods and services. Not just that, but this sweet kid had reportedly paid hit men to kill his enemies.… Or, did he? To this day there is debate over whether Ross is guilty or not.
In this Silk Road documentary, we’re going to dive into the murky world of the dark web and explore the true story behind the infamous Silk Road marketplace. We’re also going to look at how the government really managed to track down Ross, despite the fact that Ross was using the Tor browser which made him completely anonymous. How do you find someone who can’t be tracked? This is a true story filled with mysteries, twists and even a couple of corrupt government agents. Welcome to the fascinating story of the Silk Road website on the dark web. (aka: The Story Of SILK ROAD: A Journey Into The Dark Web - How They Caught The Silk Road Kingpin by MagnatesMedia).

Hey legends, I’m sure some of you are familiar with the history of Silk Road already, but honestly the full in-depth story is fascinating. It just keeps getting crazier the more it goes on. 😅
Anyway, I really hope you enjoy. And if you do, I highly recommend checking out this video afterwards: th-cam.com/video/eDbge9-aqmc/w-d-xo.html (it’s the story of the Bitcoin billionaires, and ties in very nicely with the story of Silk Road!)

Rex Tom, FBI Director of Investigative Publicity, stated in 2006 about the FBI's position:
“The FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice then decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. He has not been formally indicted and charged in connection with 9/11 because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.”

lol. That's great. All jokes aside....when it comes to drugs it's kinda on each person to know their own limits and to be careful. You can't possibly regulate everyone from doing what they are going to do. If they don't order drugs on silk road they will order or find them somewhere else if they so choose. The "war on drugs" is the perfect example of this. Drug use and incarceration rates have gone up and up since the government has gone after it more and more. They literally create the problem they claim to want to solve with these policies. It's quite literally crazy to try and stop people from wanting to experience a high of some sort or another. It's embedded in our genetics to do so.

I've heard this story from several channels by now, but this one is truly most captivating! For one, the host allows himself to treat the person in question as protagonist instead of being slicky about it, and so the viewer can understand the story on more levels, including compassion. In modern days almost all media outlets act as if they're judges instead of journalists, attaching their judgement to everything they say, trying to push one or another agenda. It became really rare when human beings are treated as human beings and facts are given as is, without staining (or outright spoiling) them with the politically "correct" tint. Good job.

The Department of Justice then decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. Do not change narrators like Jake Tran did,
Do not streamline your videos, take time in making the videos, keep up with the amazing story telling so whoever is writing the script: don’t replace them with proper training

No, instead let TH-camrs do what they want. Their obligation isn’t meant for attention recognition, the moment you start requesting inconvenient suggestions only makes the content unfair. Everyone who does in-depth documentaries are not and will never be another Jake Tran, stop enforcing selfish expectations on those whom already have a loyal audience that accept things as remain. Your in no position to exercise that authority against someone anyway thus you have no right too nor neither is anyone else, if the guy wants to enjoy the fruits of his labor then we shouldn’t feel entitled being selfish. Whatever helps this channel grow exponentially is all due considered under whoever is in charge, because we’d be hypocrites if suggested what’s only convenient amongst us

Fascinating storytelling and work putting it all together.
Morale of the story: if you wanna impede in the government business, be a smart Alec first. But of course the gov have illicit tools to know things including use of magic. You can ask Edward Snowden if in doubt.

Can you just imagine how Ross felt when he realized that whole argument in the library was for him, watching his laptop being taken away? He must have pissed his pants.
Ross got the right sentence for one reason only. He thought he had five people killed.

What’s worse: the 5 people Ross THOUGHT he killed, or the literal hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people the government that arrested him has killed for worse reasons?

That's attempted murder and the only real crime he committed. The sentence is over the top, pedophiles and violent offenders who actually ruin people's lives get a couple years in nicer prisons and get out early lol what a joke.
