This one of the best examples of videogame-spawned musical creativity I've ever heard. Its existence almost validates the entirety of OC ReMix by itself. So... yes.
What I like about this one is it's one of the most unique remixes of a song ever. It doesn't just play the same exact song just in guitar or make it a dubstep remix (which there is no problem with, I still like those). This one recreates the song in a genre 99.9% of song remixes aren't and adds lyrics that go with the stage and robot master AND even gives Hornet Man personality. I don't think I've heard a different remix that's given a robot master a personality in the way this one does
believe it or not, my friend knew Hornet Man is my favorite from Mega Man 9. One Day he asked me to dance with him at a school dance, but with the original 8-bit version while he sung this. The whole school was watching us and most went "awwwee".
Togebo the Togepi That's the cutest and most amavingly and lovably dork things I've ever heard. I wish i could sing but i think I'm done deaf, my mom refuses to accept it though.
The more I listen to it, the more I love it. This remix is amazing. It's not a straight up remix of the Hornet Man theme but that's what makes it so good. It's so out there and has so much soul. It sells it.
The absolute best song in the entire album and the best hornet man remix you will ever hear. Period. Seriously this remix is amazing. It makes (made me ) dance, the vocals are awesome and the song is just addicting. Smooth as honey baby.
I've just listened to the album once over, so it's subject to change, but as of right now, this is my all time favorite mix on the album. Good show, Sir Jordanius
At first, it didn't catch me at all. But around 30 seconds in... Thank goodness, I didn't change the page too quickly. I could have missed one of the best remixes I've ever heard!
Best song on the album, hands down. Perhaps even my favorite remix of this year, as well. I love the chorus (1:43), the breakdown (2:50), the general passion in his voice (3:24 and 3:59), and the little "wahh wahhh wahh waaahhhhh" of the muted trumpet (?) at "Wow, baby you are lookin' so fiiine" (1:27) Wonderful remix. I'm usually not a fan of remixes with lyrics/vocals, but this...this was great :D Hope to hear more like this in the future.
At first I thought it was Parov Stelar, 'cause it's the jazz with vocal and eletronic that I have on my playlist. When I saw it was a remix from OC, my jaw dropped. Such an amazing remix, I usually dislike the ones with vocals. *goes to OC Remix to search other Sir Jordanius mixes*
@ocremix I've never had anything against Vocals in remixes, but as a fan who was waiting for an awesome remix of Hornet Man's stage, hearing vocals, for me, would've ruined the song. That was until I heared all of this beauty. Sometimes the singer isn't good, sometimes the lyrics aren't good, and either of those could ruin the already awesome composition of the track. But this managed to keep the awesomeness of the original track. Congrats to Sir Jordanius, he got a new fan. :D
I don't know my 1960's and 1970's music as well as I wish I did, but this ReMix reminds me of something from that era. What genre or artist of yester-century would you say he sings like?
OH MY GOSH! This song reminds me of Inspector Cabanella. I like it soooo much! Please tell me if there are any other songs/genres like it. It got kind of a disco beat to it, or is that just me
@alynnidalar Exactly the same reaction. I was taken aback and almost dismissed it when I heard lyrics, but gave it a chance when I remembered other ocremix hits with lyrics.
I like the music, and the lyrics themselves are nice, but I'm not very fond of the singer, he just doesn't sound that good to me. Otherwise it's a good song.
Anyone else still listen to this day?
I am, it's probably my favorite oc remix tracks.
This one of the best examples of videogame-spawned musical creativity I've ever heard. Its existence almost validates the entirety of OC ReMix by itself.
So... yes.
He managed to make Hornet Dance even better. That itself is already an achievement, BUT HE HAD TO MAKE IT SO GOOD?!?!
It's 2020, we are all trapped home, but this still BOPS, man.

My childhood
When I first heared this I was all: "No, not another vocal remix..."
AND NOW THERE IS NO LIMIT TO ME.
Where in the world did this guy get his honey from? I want some of that good stuff too so I can be that smooth. This was a simply great mix.
Wow...that was funky. And I'm not even into old school stuff, I mean, that just transcends genre there.

Fantastic. A bit weird at first, but it comes together really well. Giving me the mojo makes me want to dance.
Completely unexpected? maybe. totally fuckin fantastic? definitely.
The more I listen to it, the more I love it. This remix is amazing. It's not a straight up remix of the Hornet Man theme but that's what makes it so good. It's so out there and has so much soul. It sells it.
Smooth as honey, guess they don't sting like a hornet eh?
i'm pretty sure this is the greatest thing ever.
this has been absolutely wonderful since the first i heard it
SENCILLAMENTE...PERFECTO!
sooooooooo good!
Really like the stuff you are doing, man. Also the Final Fantasy Dubstep-acapella remix you did is awesome and so creative!
Best Megaman 9 remix EVER
Plant man is blushing so hard.
Sir Jordanius, have my music babbies.
The absolute best song in the entire album and the best hornet man remix you will ever hear. Period.
Seriously this remix is amazing. It makes (made me ) dance, the vocals are awesome and the song is just addicting.

Good show, Sir Jordanius
Everything comes together perfectly in this song! I'm not a huge fan of vocal remixes, but this is AWESOME AWESOME. Love it, Sir J!
Yeah, when I first heard it, I didn't like it much, but now its one of my favorites.
Same here! This song just grows on you...
All-time classic
At first, it didn't catch me at all. But around 30 seconds in... Thank goodness, I didn't change the page too quickly. I could have missed one of the best remixes I've ever heard!
Love the whole album but this is by far my favorite song
the vocals are so weird but it fits.
I sprained my hip listening to this.
No really, I'm not kidding.
Best song on the album, hands down.
Perhaps even my favorite remix of this year, as well.

Wonderful remix. I'm usually not a fan of remixes with lyrics/vocals, but this...this was great :D
Hope to hear more like this in the future.
I haven't listened to the full song til now, but daaaamn this is funky.
This is the album's hit song.
This is not smooth.
this is FUNKY as HELL!
I prescribe this to my friends who suffer from a clinical lack of groove.
SOLD!!! Heck ya this makes me wanna daaaannnnnnncccee!!
I need more of these Vocal Remixes xD
I was waiting for this song since I saw the album ad
Smooth as Hun-ney!!
Wicked song, I cant remain seated!
So smooth and catchy! Can't stop listening to it.
Very smooth and relaxing!
Man I miss you....
SO DAMN SMOOTH.
Why can't I stop moving to this?!
This is such a catchy song! Tho with the lyrics and rhythm it totally makes me think of something you'd hear in Katamari Damacy XD
hahaha. i was about to turn the song off, then it got funkier than a fat man in a bowling alley with a broken AC.
is this part of that megaman 9 collaboration? if so what's the link to the full collab?
I love this. That is all. Only listening this can do it justice.
After listening to this again, I think this is amazing.
The best I've heard so far today.
DAMN Hornet Man, what a voice! XD
You like jazz?
Lol so im not the only one XDD
At first I thought it was Parov Stelar, 'cause it's the jazz with vocal and eletronic that I have on my playlist. When I saw it was a remix from OC, my jaw dropped. Such an amazing remix, I usually dislike the ones with vocals. *goes to OC Remix to search other Sir Jordanius mixes*
this needs a saxo XD
I think this is as good of a remix as this song could have ever been.
When a male bee starts to flirt
Omg this is perfect!!!

At first I was like "...what is this?"
But then I realized how awesome it is.
Just go to 1:06 for a direct start!
Apparently stage themes in Mega Man 11 will have lyrics
and an instrumental version, here's hoping the lyrics are as good as this
I started hating this song. And suddenly one day I started liking it. And now it's my favorite one in the album.
WTF man. Stop messing with my head.
This is too fucking crazy for my high ass to comprehend. It's BEYOND realistic capacities of awesome.
When I'm next to you, there's nothing I can't do.
I don't know my 1960's and 1970's music as well as I wish I did, but this ReMix reminds me of something from that era. What genre or artist of yester-century would you say he sings like?

omg I forgot about this
@alynnidalar Exactly the same reaction. I was taken aback and almost dismissed it when I heard lyrics, but gave it a chance when I remembered other ocremix hits with lyrics.
Hegga funky 🔥🕺🔥

Do i hate it or do i love it?!
I can't tell...but i've been listening to it 4times trying to figure it out so it can't be that bad:P

@Tetrisboyz bur
I like the music, and the lyrics themselves are nice, but I'm not very fond of the singer, he just doesn't sound that good to me.
Otherwise it's a good song.
No sir, I don't like it!
