All the respect to all those contributed to Apollo program. ... 'Apollo' is a memory in the history of mankind on Earth. ... Well done.

Only one man, Mr. Werner Von Braun, did it. No American engineers did much of anything or only did very little. Evidence: None of the American Apollo Program engineers wrote any memoirs for having very little to remember and memorable to talk about, and none of their names worth mentioning for having done little, except one man, Werner Von Braun, a German Apollo Program engineer. 2019 Israel failed an unmanned moon landing. I could think of the only reason is that the Israeli space program has no Germans. So did India, which failed an unmanned moon landing, has no Germans.

Such an amazing period of time not just for the United States but the whole world in general. Truly did show the 2 sides of human nature. On the one hand we had the savagery of war, Vietnam etc and on the other men like this didn't run from problems, they simply overcame them using every ounce of intellect they possessed. Men and women who really did understand that when everyone pulls together, the whole is a magnitude greater than the sum of its parts.

@Sonny Rainville It sounds really really hard to get to space with such little technology but it really isn’t. This documentary has opened my eyes to so much. I was born in 1970 so all the excitement had died down before I was aware of the enormity of what was achieved. It has just been in recent years that I have given thought to how extraordinary those flights to the moon were because it happened so long ago. We have the internet, we can communicate with each other face to face on a hand held device while being thousands of miles apart. That was Star Trek technology just a few years ago. And I believe those missions were the beginning of our technological advances. We were lit like a fire for the advancement of science ever since.

I disagree with one statement that was made toward the end of this video ... that a focus on the individual is not going to cut it. It was the work of visionary individuals like Isaac Newton, Konstantin Ziolkovski, Robert H. Goddard, Wernher von Braun and countless others which laid the groundwork that made the Apollo Project possible. When the time is right the work being done right now by individual thinkers and doers will launch the next grand achievement of humankind.

The story between Wallace and von Braun (the former Nazi) is fascinating in itself. You would never have guessed without context.
He went head to head way more than it was politically wise. Fair to say the two weren't friends. Von Braun is a fascinating historical character when you dig a bit deeper. As many are of course.

That was excellent.Thank you. I'm fortunate to have lived through those times. Sputnik really caused a big hoopla, even in the rural area where I grew up. I remember standing in our living room having spent 14 hours working a tractor in the fields, family huddled around the TV, as Niel Armstrong made his epic step onto the moon. Today there is no market for the products from the fields and we can't provide enough organizational and technical expertise to even make and distribute enough face masks and protective gear for health care workers in the midst of a pandemic. That is pathetic. It is largely the targeted loss of scientific and technical expertise, along with an utter incapacity and failure of leadership which has brought us to our current tragic and criminally induced death count from Covid-19. It takes people with expertise and professional integrity to solve complex problems for the country at large, not ill-prepared buffoons as we have in today's administration.

“Real leaders” are groomed to be politicians, not leaders. They’re groomed on who to know, what to say to appease both sides while doing nothing or the bare minimum for either of them, how to be charismatic and lie with a smile and how to become millionaires on a public servant salary. “Real leaders” are all the same. They have been hand selected by those really in charge to complete their goals and their goals never have anything to do with the real problems everyday people face but instead how to get more power to those who already have it while keeping the subjugated masses stupid.

When President Trump proposed returning to the moon and sending people to Mars, the media marginalized his effort. According to their way of thinking, since HE was the one who promoted it, therefore it was bad. There's a supreme irony ... that if John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson had been held to the same ethical standard as Donald Trump, Kennedy would never had the opportunity to launch Project Apollo and Johnson wouldn't have been in office to keep it going. The extent of both men's corruption was covered up by the news media at the time but is common knowledge now.

I cannot for the life of me understand or believe how the Lunar Lander worked everytime on the Moon when it failed every test flight on Earth ?
How can you fly some craft for the first time without a mishap ?
We did get to the Moon i am convinced !
But when it was pointed out the lander hatch appears to small for a fully suited astronaut to exit or enter it at the museum and the blue prints were asked for the blue prints disappeared from NASA ?
We know some of the photos from the Apollo missions were training photos on the set !
Could be the film on some apollo missions were also subsituted as well with training film !
One Apollo moon film showed the big letter C on a rock that was a prop label and dead givaway !
What they really did on the Moon is unknown !
Rumors were they were filming structures that we built on the Moon by others there before us humans !

    • @ijamsum
      @ijamsum 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@felix mendez After much open minded research i have began to believe the impossible can happen but the Apollo paradox or puzzle has many pieces that do not fit ?
The Apollo program was because of the collection of 400 Moon anomalies recorded by NASA and some photos of structures that did not appear to be natural in nature at all !
President Kennedy wanted to include the Russians on Apollo missions but was rebuffed and later he was eliminated !
Both the FBI director and the President were denied the UFO information they requested from the CIA who concealed it all from everybody !
The answers from the Apollo missions answered many questions , we are not the only intelligent beings in our solar system !

    • @ijamsum
      @ijamsum 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@felix mendez Just like all the missing and off course Airliners reaching there targets on 911 , our airforce could have stopped this but was ignore for 2.5 billion dollars gained by not doing anything .
      Follow the money !
All i know for sure is we were played training tapes during some of the Apollo missions while they did there original secret mission !
When the Apollo wheeled vehicle left no tracks at the landing site you knew it was fishy !
The air brushed Moon photos do not surprise me , NASA has hid more than revealed !
The lies actually help reveal there NASA agenda of hiding things !
Your knowledge is vast Felix , why not write the book because it would open some minds and people may be less gullible !
The US Navy released the UFO films of late for monetary support for the threat they say UFOs represent even though they knew about UFOs in the 1950s !
I suspect whistle blowers saying we have a secret space fleet is true by back engineering UFOs or by trading for technology after making direct contact with the ETs !
The UFO phenomena has been taken over by the military industrial complex of very powerful in tight with the CIA and is not in good hands at all !
Our science cannot hold a candle to the ET tech !
Good thing the ETs have no ill will towards us , we would be destroyed quickly !
Care should be taken to keep it this way !
We should not shoot them down as has been done !
The big picture makes ETs of little concern in my eyes !
It amazes me how we all believe what makes us comfortable not the truth like the truth of UFOs and EBE reality !
The UFO abductions are wide spread and a vast program !
I find to make a consensus on the UFO subject impossible because there are so many types and agendas they have its just massive !
If trade is the number one important thing in the Universe then Technology to travel the stars would be the number one item traded to expand trade !
I think the impossible is more likely than the mundane because its a some what paranormal Universe we live in !

@@ijamsum the Lunar Lander worked perfectly the first 21 test flights flights on earth before its first failure. It just became a lot easier to operate when it was being operated as it was built to do, while exiting orbit and landing on a surface with 1/3 gravity of earth. Also, the original footage of the moon rock did have have a letter “c” on it. Remember, a lot of the footage we see is from a camera recording a projector that was playing the original footage from NASA. The “c” is likely a hair lying on the projector.

Sure feel bad for all the good people who truly believed in what they were doing- Only to be sitting at a computer monitor while listening to the audio made weeks before by Kubrick when the 'actual' landing was filmed. There's a reason why the film footage shown in the documentary "A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to The Moon" shows "Not for General Release" "Not for Public Viewing" (sic) right at the beginning of NASA's own footage... It shows the trickery used by the actornauts in low earth orbit to make it seem as tho they were halfway to the moon... They remove the black out card stock placed in the window and the actual distance to the earth is shown. The footage is real- it came from NASA. The interviews of the 3 Apollo 11 actornauts has been studied and analyzed intensively- Determined that all 3 were not truthful in their accounts, and to have used language indicating they were all lying. Can't fool real science, psuedo scientists can try as hard as they want- Truth is and always will be the daughter of time. Time and errors on the part of NASA has shown it all to be false. Astronauts don't drown in their space suits, nor should they need scuba gear inside their helmets... The latest footage showing them 'outside' the ISS with bare fingers and thumb- the audio heard "You thumb can be seen" There is a 'mock up' of the vessel in a pool in Texas for a reason- because that's where everything except the ridiculous footage of the crazy haired women and red faced men flipping around inside the ISS us filmed. Consider the amount of human debris that is she'd off a body in one day- extrapolate to the vast number of people who have been there for up to a year... Not even considering the menstrual waste of the women who've been in space--- no showers/bathing for up to a year... Pungent doesn't even do that thought justice. Wake up people- learn some real science about vacuum environments and sealed pressurized living spaces... Then remember that a hole to the vacuum of 'space' was repaired using duct tape.... Jokes on any fool who's been fooled. I guess it's easier to want to believe the lie than admit the giant step for mankind was taken on a closed set in am undisclosed location, and all modern footage is filmed underwater in Texas. Anyone who can show the physics behind propulsion in a vacuum or what type of metal/rubber or plastic is used as seals for the many hydrolic and other components to filter air, water, and maintain the integrity of the ISS for any length of time while exposed to the temperature fluctuations of space..is welcome to respond. Haven't met a single engineer yet who can answer these questions- not holding my breath. The idea that molecules are too far apart is idiotic. As soon as the molecule touches the vessel it becomes either super heated or cooled. The physics and explanation given are nonsense. Anyone stopping to think without emotion for long enough to understand the way vacuums and heat transference work soon see the truth.

I really do love the whole story about the space race. Yes America ultimately won but the Soviets were more than worthy contenders. This is the way political battles should be contested. A race toward exploration as opposed annihilation. Of course the various figures who held offices in houses of politics on both sides held different views with regard to the space race and it was those very people who halted everything once the perceived race was over but those shallow people aside, what better way to contest ideologies than to pit minds against each other in a way that would in the end be of benefit to mankind as a species. I know there are those who are adamant that man has never made it to the lunar surface and they are absolutely entitled to hold any opinion they wish and I have no right whatsoever to tell them they are wrong, but for me this particular period of time in history will always be a source of inspiration and awe. There were a great many negatives during that time but shining through the darkness there will forever be the brave men and women involved in the mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Vostok space programmes.

The Soviets were asked to join Apollo, effectively ending the cold war. In the end, JFK was assassinated and they ultimately lost the space-race.

Thomas Lewis No, the Soviets were never asked to join Apollo, JFK was considering “what if” scenario if Soviets in fact joined in, that never happened because Soviets were totally disinterested in such scenario but few on the NASA side considered it plausible either.

And to think each one actually thought it was real 😅 "Astro-nots" to the 🌙 moon, as Nixon famously said "the american people will believe anything as long as they see it on 📺"...lol

He obviously is not taking credit for that, but he created the "Space Force, which is historic, and monumental. A far bigger accomplishment than anything done by Obama/Biden.

Please, stop allowing yourself to be manipulated so much by our media. Keep in mind that we no longer have a free press but a controlled one instead. Always think critically and look at every viewpoint.
