God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), rather He is an intentional God of order (John 1:1) and a God of abundance (Ephesians 3:20 and Philippians 4:19). His truth is there is no situation, problem or issue that is before you that is too big or too hard or too complex or too convoluted from Him. Cast your cares upon Him, see 1 Peter 5:7, Matthew 11:28-30. God has you, keep saying what He said and you shall Blessed right now.
Today is a new day. You can do all things through Christ ... Keep talking like God, you are a kingdom kid. Jesus talked solution and result, not problem and despair, and He told you do what what He did. You do what Jesus did, your children will follow accordingly. Stay Blessed.
You need God's help for sure, as do I. How to understand a teenager: Teach them about God through all you do and parent them. Love them, listen to them. Then remind them why there is a standard and live out what you teach and they will follow.
