    I've had a few Girsan pistols and found them to be good guns for the money. I'd be interested in how this compares to the Springfield to see which is the best budget 2011.

    A 9mm polymer framed Turkish 2011 wannabe...meh is an understatment.
    However...I highly recommend the RealAvid multitool for everyone's workbench and range bag😁
    There's always just at least one little tool you don't want to look for in the middle of a project and that multitool is a real timesaver for that one quick application.

    Mine still has a 10 pound trigger pull after 500 dry fires and 150 rounds shot through it. Shoots ok but trigger is terrible and the Prodigy mags do not work well with mine it will go to slide lock with the last round still in the mag every time.

    • @stever8776
      @stever8776 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Wilson parts and a little fitting by a good gunsmith can do wonders for a trigger! And it doesn't cost much. If you want to save more they make the drop in sear and hammer.
      You will need to polish the trigger bow.

      I didn't realize the frame was polymer.
      My Girsan HP clone is steel.
      I also have a Sarsilmaz SAR K2 45.
      IMHO it's an improved version of the CZ97. Unlike the 97 it has a light rail and a better trigger. It also uses Mecgar 13 round magazines instead of 10 round CZs.
      Just saw that someone is making rails you can screw on to CZ97. Similar to the rails the Marines put onto their MARSOC 1911s
      Cheers
      I'm a big fan of the CZ75 pistols; I have a CZ75 Compact, a CZ85 ( the tactical version of the CZ75) and the New CZ Shadow 2 Compact with an aluminum frame
      IMHO The CZ75 is an improved version of the Hi-Power

    Thanks for the review. You did a great job showing all of the important aspects of that gun. That being said, and as a poor person this gun should appeal to, it is evident to me why the quality 2011’s cost so much. By the time you get this gun to a standard one would expect from this type of gun, you might as well have bought the Staccato. I know you will show us the range performance, and it will probably do ok, I just see this being a huge headache and disappointment. If the cost cutting results in a clearly inferior product, then it is not really saving you anything, and it just robs more of your time and enjoyment. I have been down this road before, so I will pass on this one.

      Thank you. I've found that when companies don't want to work with me it's either because they don't respect the channel and audience or they have something to hide. Believe it or not there are a few companies out there who have asked specifically NOT to be on the channel. In my own off-camera testing I learned why. Rather than burn those companies I try to give them a chance to fix things, that way everyone gains: better products, happier customers. I'm not implying this applies to LFA, they've simply ignored my attempts to contact them.

    Wow I really don't like that they don't run plus p a 9mm should be able to run anything from Hardcast Buffalo bore to liberty 50 grain plus p or plus plus p .I'm not a big fan of 2011 anyways seems like a little backwards in the evolution of handguns .

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why would you want or need +p from a 4.25" barrel? The point of +p is to ensure the projectile reaches a decent speed so it can perform as intended. For example in 9mm any barrel shorter than 4" is too short for many rounds to get adequate speed (SAMMI spec for 9mm is a 4" barrel and so that's what most ammunition is manufactured for).

    • @charles17508
      @charles17508 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @GBGuns it's just some bullets come plus p only and when I shoot plus p out of say a glock 19 it's more power house round than a none plus p .
